"I just randomly booked a budget-friendly hotel, so I didn't have high expectations. However, despite the affordable price, the room facilities were very complete and clean. It offered great value for money. The only downside was that the soundproofing wasn't very good, both inside the building and from outside."

"I arrived early on December 1st to check in, stayed overnight, and then met everyone in the lobby in the morning for breakfast before heading out for the Wingon Travel Agency group tour. "The environment here is a reflection of how subpar Shenzhen's city planning is! There's construction happening all around. I asked the front desk for a quiet room, and they assured me it wouldn't be noisy. To my surprise, it truly was quiet – a miracle! The room came with a charging cable, a UK-style power outlet, a fridge, and the TV was clear and easy on the eyes, with a working remote. Even though the window was sealed, there were no strange odors in the room or hallway, thanks to scheduled air purification. The lobby takes up almost an entire floor and has a grand, historic feel to it. The nearby convenience store was also well-stocked and useful. Overall, this place is at least a full step above the glorious hotel diagonally across the street. I still have to say, Shenzhen's city planning is truly awful 👎"

"The hotel's location is great, and the room was very clean, spacious, and smoke-free. The bed and pillows were comfortable, which was nice. However, the front desk service was just okay. When I checked in at night, there was only one person working, and many guests were waiting. It seemed like she couldn't handle all the customers, and we had to wait. Overall, it was still an OK stay."

Its proximity to the metro station and major transportation arteries makes it incredibly fast to get to Shenzhen Railway Station, Shenzhen Book City, or the Dongmen shopping district. The surrounding area is packed with dining and commercial facilities, catering to guests' diverse needs. The hotel rooms feature a modern and elegant design with expansive views, many overlooking the city skyline, and the overall environment is quiet and comfortable. In terms of service, employee Mina is professional and enthusiastic, promptly responding to requests from check-in to room service. Eason at the front desk is efficient, handling procedures smoothly and politely. Room cleaning is meticulous, and the bedding is comfortable. The restaurant offers a wide variety of breakfast options, with diverse Chinese and Western choices, all fresh and high-quality. The business center and meeting facilities are well-equipped, suitable for business trips and corporate events. Overall, the Pengnian Renaissance Hotel combines a convenient location with attentive service, providing travelers with a comfortable and convenient stay. Whether for leisure or business travel, this is a highly recommended choice."

"This is my go-to hotel for business trips to Shenzhen! The location is absolutely perfect – right outside Gangxia Station on Line 1. There's a huge shopping mall across the street, making dining and shopping super convenient. The room was clean and odor-free, with complete and well-maintained facilities. The washing machine and refrigerator were huge bonuses, making my stay incredibly comfortable. The environment was quiet and relaxing, and I absolutely loved the large balcony – great natural light and a nice breeze, perfect for a leisurely stroll after dinner. The front desk service was excellent throughout my stay. They proactively communicated directions, sent WeChat guides, and even came downstairs to meet me. When I asked about Hong Kong and Macao visa endorsements, they immediately sent me a marked map of the nearest location – they really went above and beyond for their guests. It's also very close to Futian High-Speed Rail Station, making trips to Hong Kong super convenient. I've already recommended it to my friends, and it's definitely worth booking again!"

"My friend booked this hotel, and our stay was such a pleasant surprise, totally exceeding our expectations! The location is pretty good, convenient for getting anywhere. We took Metro Line 4 from Shenzhen North High-Speed Rail Station, and it was just one stop to Hongshan Station. The hotel was a short walk from there. When we checked in, the front desk staff noticed we had a child with us and thoughtfully asked if we needed any kids' amenities. The facilities are incredibly comprehensive. The AC cooled the room quickly and quietly, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the dry/wet separation design for the vanity was super practical. Even small details like the hairdryer and charging ports were well thought out, with everything we needed for daily use. The hygiene was impeccable. There was no odd smell when we entered the room. The bedding and towels were spotless white and free of stains. The floors and tabletops were dust-free, and there was no standing water or grime in the bathroom corners – it was clear the cleaning staff did a very thorough job. The breakfast selection was also quite good, and children (under 8) didn't need a separate purchase. The service attitude was exceptionally good, from calling to inquire before booking to the staff's professional and efficient check-in process upon arrival. Everything went smoothly. They were very responsive, professional, and warm-hearted. Overall, the entire experience left us feeling very reassured, at ease, and comfortable. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again for future trips!"

"The young lady at the front desk who checked me in around 3 PM was very professional and exceptionally polite. The hotel room was spacious, and the bed was huge. It's an older hotel, which is perfectly understandable, and for just an overnight stay, I think it was comfortable and totally fine. However, I really need to mention the hotel breakfast, which I believe needs significant improvement. Firstly, there's very little variety. Secondly, it seemed unhygienic or perhaps the food wasn't fresh... My husband and I both got diarrhea after eating breakfast and returning to our room! My stomach started hurting in the elevator on the way back to the room after breakfast, and I almost didn't make it to the toilet in time. Before eating, we were both perfectly fine with no discomfort, as we always use the restroom after waking up in the morning. I distinctly remember everything I ate for breakfast, and I didn't even eat much! I had a small bowl of dace fish, peanut, and pork bone congee, two small pieces of boiled corn, a tea egg, two small cups of hot milk, a small cup of hot blackberry tea, a little vegetable salad, and four small multigrain buns (I gave one to my husband). Unexpectedly, I had diarrhea all day yesterday, and I'm still feeling weak at work today."

"Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on 10/12/25to 12/12/25. Front office informed us about there will be electricity shut down between 12am to 2am on the night for 5 min. The next day when we woke up, we were not able to switch on most of the lights & we alerted the front office twice as breakfast time was up to 10am. The maintenance came at 830am & he took out the key card & put back after few minutes. He then tell us because of they shut down the electricity, they need to pull out the key card & put it back so simple. I believed if the front office had advised us earlier how to handle this during the electricity shut down, we will not waste so much time waiting for the maintenance to attend to us & rush for breakfast. Overall we have a great stay in this hotel & we will definitely stay here again if we travel to Shenzhen."

"Shenzhen is never short of top-tier hotels, providing excellent options for celebrating special occasions. As a local living in Futian District, I've experienced several notable hotels, including the Raffles in Nanshan, InterContinental in Dameisha, and Hilton, Sheraton, and Shangri-La in Futian. This time, for my husband's 70th birthday, we chose to stay at The St. Regis Shenzhen in Luohu for two nights. The hotel is located within the KK100 building, offering seamless access to Metro Lines 1 and 2 and KK MALL, making transportation incredibly convenient. Our stay was absolutely fantastic and exceeded all expectations. The hotel's environment, facilities, service, and cleanliness were all impeccable. The room was excellent value, spacious, bright, exquisitely clean, and equipped with high-end amenities. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. The walk-in closet was a great feature. The bathroom was very large with a separate wet and dry area, and the double vanity is a true hallmark of a high-end five-star hotel. Housekeeping and turn-down service were meticulous and thoughtful. We also received welcome fruit. The hotel's service sets a benchmark; it's attentive to detail, comprehensive, and very personable. The staff at the concierge desk on the first floor and those at check-in on the 96th floor were all proactively polite, warm, and welcoming, leaving an excellent first impression. Both the male and female staff were attractive, highly professional, and spoke fluent English. A special shout-out to our room butler, JAY CHEN. He was handsome, polite, and incredibly nice. He proactively brought our luggage to the room, thoroughly explained the room facilities, and described the view from the window. He immediately brought the coffee and welcome fruit we requested. Upon learning it was my husband's birthday the next day, he promptly arranged and personally delivered a beautiful birthday cake on the actual day – a truly surprising, stunning, and touching gesture! Many thanks again to Butler JAY CHEN! The buffet breakfast and lunch on the 95th floor were both superb. For lunch, we were served hairy crab and typhoon shelter prawns at our table, which was absolutely amazing! Excellent value for money! The chefs in the restaurant were skilled and very polite, offering proactive service. The dishes were unique and tasted delicious. All the servers were courteous, swiftly clearing plates and tidying tables with keen eyes and quick hands. They were responsive to all requests and provided timely service. Whenever we encountered staff or management near or inside the elevators, they would proactively hold the door and assist with scanning cards and pressing floor numbers, which was a very heartwarming touch. We also received a small gift upon check-out. These small details show genuine warmth and make all the difference. Because we were so satisfied, we loved it. We will definitely be frequenting the buffet here and will choose this hotel first for future special occasions. I wholeheartedly recommend The St. Regis Shenzhen!"
