GGuest UserI was unexpectedly stranded at Shenzhen North (Shenzhenbei) during the busy holiday season and urgently needed a place to stay. After comparing several listings on Trip.com, this hostel stood out based on its reviews, and it fully lived up to my expectations.
The photos are accurate and reflect the property exactly as it is. The host prepared the bed sheets and pillowcases right in front of me, which immediately reassured me about the cleanliness. Everything was spotless and well maintained. Cleanliness is one of my top priorities when choosing accommodation because I value my health, and I felt completely comfortable staying here. I saw no pests or anything unhygienic, so if you’re concerned about that, you can rest easy.
The host speaks basic English and was very welcoming. Since I had just traveled from Hong Kong Airport to Shenzhen North, he even kindly offered to show me around the area. There are plenty of food options nearby, I enjoyed Lanzhou noodles and stinky tofu just steps from the building.
For clarification, the hostel is located inside an apartment building and operates in a dorm-style setup. Shoes are removed at the entrance, and guest slippers are provided. There is a comfortable common area with a sofa and dining table, free drinking water, and complimentary toiletries including a toothbrush and disposable towel, which was especially helpful since I had forgotten to pack one. The bathroom is modern and equipped with a Western-style sit-down toilet.
Each bed has its own privacy curtain and personal light, which I appreciated. There are also power outlets conveniently located at each bed. Wi-Fi worked smoothly without any issues, and free laundry is available, which is a great bonus for travelers.
There are designated quiet hours, so you can sleep comfortably. During my stay, it was peaceful and no one snored. The host even asked whether I snore, which shows he is considerate of all guests.
The other guests were polite and respectful. I was the only foreigner staying there, and the rest were Chinese travelers who were likely in the same situation, unable to secure train tickets that night. The property is non-smoking, which I also appreciated.
The only minor downside is for taller guests. I am 183 cm (6 ft), and I had to curl up slightly since the bed length appears to be around 180 cm. It was manageable, but something to keep in mind if you’re tall.
The location is very convenient. It’s next to the train station, and you can easily take the subway if you have luggage. It only cost me 2 RMB to ride, so there’s really no need to take a taxi. In the morning, I bought pork steamed buns and soy milk from a nearby vendor, he was friendly, and the food was great.
For $4, this was outstanding value. If you’re looking for a clean, affordable, and convenient place to stay near Shenzhen North, this is an excellent option. Hopefully this review helps anyone considering staying in the area.

老板会说一些基础英语，人也非常热情。我刚从香港机场来到深圳北，他还主动提出可以带我熟悉一下周边环境。楼下和附近有很多吃的，我就在旁边吃了兰州拉面和臭豆腐，非常方便。
这家青旅位于一栋公寓楼内，是宿舍式布局。进门需要脱鞋，店家会提供室内拖鞋。公共区域有沙发和餐桌，提供免费饮用水，还有一次性牙刷和毛巾。我旅行时忘记带毛巾，这点对我来说非常贴心。卫生间是现代化的马桶，不需要蹲厕。
每个床位都有隐私帘和独立照明灯，床位旁边也有插座。Wi-Fi 信号稳定，没有任何问题。另外还提供免费洗衣服务，这对旅行者来说是很大的加分项。
店内有安静时间规定，所以晚上可以安心休息。我入住期间非常安静，也没有人打呼噜。老板还特意问我会不会打呼噜，可见他很照顾每位客人的感受。
其他住客都很礼貌、很安静。我是唯一的外国人，其他客人都是中国旅客，可能和我一样，当晚没买到火车票才临时入住。这里是无烟环境，我很喜欢这一点。
唯一的小缺点是对高个子来说床可能稍短。我身高183厘米（6英尺），需要稍微蜷着睡。床长大概180厘米左右，高个子可以提前考虑一下。不过整体来说还是可以接受的。
地理位置非常方便，就在火车站旁边。如果带行李，可以直接坐地铁到附近，我只花了2元人民币，完全没必要打车。第二天早上，我在附近买了猪肉包子和豆浆，老板也很友善，味道不错。
总的来说，4美元的价格性价比非常高。如果你在深圳北附近寻找一个干净、实惠又方便的住宿地点，这里是非常不错的选择。希望这条评价能帮到有需要的人。

MMasonmanThis stay was at the Intercity Hotel Futian Huanggang in Shenzhen. The room was comfortable, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, and the Huazhu TV cast screen feature was very convenient. The bed was just the right balance of soft and firm. The hotel service was excellent; the staff were friendly and promptly offered water upon arrival. The mini-fridge was stocked with Coke and dark beer, and the delivery robots for room service and takeout were efficient. Overall, it offered great value for money and a very good hotel experience. The breakfast selection was extensive, with plenty of cold dishes and a wide variety of hot food. I'd say it's among the best for this type of hotel, and I definitely enjoyed a hearty meal. The location is very convenient, situated in the central Futian area, close to the subway and train station, making it ideal for business travelers. It's also a good choice for tourists visiting Shenzhen, as most places are accessible by subway.

Ccircle920As the best hotel in Shenzhen, it truly lives up to expectations. Although it opened several years ago, it's incredibly well-maintained. The bedding and bath products are very thoughtfully chosen, and the welcome tea and snacks were a nice touch. The afternoon tea selection might not be huge, but it's very refined and tastes excellent. I particularly want to mention breakfast – the eggs Benedict were perfectly made, and the braised beef noodles were incredibly authentic. The fresh coconuts also met the high standards you'd expect from a luxury hotel.
However, there was a small hiccup during check-in. When we arrived at our room, we found the door wide open and a man sitting on the sofa! Luckily, a staff member was passing by in the hallway. After hearing what happened, they escorted us to the lobby to clarify the situation. Leo, the lobby manager, sincerely apologized for the hotel's error, and the solution he offered was acceptable. For someone who has stayed in many ultra-luxury hotels worldwide, it's quite unacceptable for a Mandarin Oriental to make such a basic mistake. This was truly a first for me, and I hope the hotel takes this seriously!

From the moment I arrived, the guest services staff were exceptionally attentive. They proactively greeted me with enthusiasm, efficiently helped with my luggage, and guided me through the check-in process. Their demeanor was consistently warm and friendly, never feeling perfunctory. During check-in, they patiently answered all my questions, providing detailed explanations for everything from travel itineraries and local attractions to any accommodation-related needs. They even proactively noted my travel plans and offered thoughtful suggestions, demonstrating professionalism and genuine care in every detail.
Throughout my stay, the guest services team's support was constant. Any request I made was addressed immediately and handled efficiently and thoroughly. They never shirked responsibility and consistently prioritized guests' needs. Every team member greeted me with a smile, which made me feel incredibly welcome. Their service was thoughtful, meticulous, and responsible, and their professionalism alleviated all my travel concerns, making the entire stay exceptionally comfortable and smooth.
This guest services team, with their genuine sincerity and professional service, delivered an outstanding stay experience. With such a dedicated service team, this hotel is truly an excellent choice, and I will definitely choose to stay here first on my next visit!

GGuest UserI booked this hotel last minute after spending two days in Dameisha, and to my surprise, the experience was fantastic. From service to ambiance, dining to cleanliness, the Ritz-Carlton perfectly showcased the quality expected of a top luxury hotel. The day before check-in, a staff member contacted me to inquire about my preferences and schedule. The next day, I had a smooth check-in, and they thoughtfully prepared toiletries for my child. I had seen some reviews saying the hotel wasn't very welcoming to children, but that's absolutely not true! From the doorman to the lobby staff and every other team member I encountered, everyone was incredibly warm, sincere, and polite. Traveling with my two children, I felt truly touched by their kindness. The room was clean, bright, and airy, with not a speck of dust in any corner. The bedding was comfortable, and they even offered a variety of pillows to choose from, which was a huge plus for a picky sleeper like me. The breakfast was rich and exquisite – and I say that based on comparisons with other hotels in the same price range. The outdoor pool also deserves a special mention; the night view, in particular, was stunning, far more impressive in person than in pictures. This time, I was short on time and couldn't experience the spa, but I did try the indoor hot spring and steam room, which were incredibly relaxing and washed away the fatigue of a long day. To sum up the Ritz-Carlton in one sentence: it's a hotel you won't want to leave, and one you'll definitely return to.

GGuest UserOverall, my stay was fantastic! The private beach was the absolute highlight – so much cleaner, quieter, and less crowded than the public ones. The sand was wonderfully fine, and it was well-maintained. Even though the waves were a bit strong recently, stirring up some sand, that's just nature and not the hotel's fault.
The pool was the biggest standout: huge! The deep and shallow areas were well-sectioned, so kids of all ages could find a pool they liked. The best part was the water quality – no strong chlorine smell, and you could tell it was constantly circulating and refreshed. My skin didn't feel itchy after swimming, which was really comfortable.
Every room faces the ocean, offering spectacular views. The rooms were a good size and well-equipped, making for a very comfortable stay.
As for dining: the breakfast and dinner buffets were decent overall. It would be perfect if there was a bit more variety.
In summary: the beach, pool, and ocean-view rooms were all excellent. It's a great spot for a family vacation, and I'd definitely consider coming back.

Facilities: The large shower head was very comfortable, and the hot water came on quickly. The smart toilet was a nice convenience. They even provided bath bags for the bathtub. The pool was clean, and the poolside bar had a great vibe at night. There's also a robot that delivers takeaways.
Service: Every staff member I encountered was incredibly warm and friendly. The front desk was very professional and even gave us sand-digging tools. They upgraded our room type, and everyone would proactively greet us when we came and went. The new lady at the front desk had a very friendly smile. On the morning of April 9th, the housekeeping auntie on the 3rd floor was exceptionally good; she immediately provided anything guests needed and was very enthusiastic.
The hotel is right across from an outlet mall, which makes dining and shopping very convenient. Next time I'm in Dameisha, I will definitely stay here again.
