I was unexpectedly stranded at Shenzhen North (Shenzhenbei) during the busy holiday season and urgently needed a place to stay. After comparing several listings on Trip.com, this hostel stood out based on its reviews, and it fully lived up to my expectations. The photos are accurate and reflect the property exactly as it is. The host prepared the bed sheets and pillowcases right in front of me, which immediately reassured me about the cleanliness. Everything was spotless and well maintained. Cleanliness is one of my top priorities when choosing accommodation because I value my health, and I felt completely comfortable staying here. I saw no pests or anything unhygienic, so if you’re concerned about that, you can rest easy. The host speaks basic English and was very welcoming. Since I had just traveled from Hong Kong Airport to Shenzhen North, he even kindly offered to show me around the area. There are plenty of food options nearby, I enjoyed Lanzhou noodles and stinky tofu just steps from the building. For clarification, the hostel is located inside an apartment building and operates in a dorm-style setup. Shoes are removed at the entrance, and guest slippers are provided. There is a comfortable common area with a sofa and dining table, free drinking water, and complimentary toiletries including a toothbrush and disposable towel, which was especially helpful since I had forgotten to pack one. The bathroom is modern and equipped with a Western-style sit-down toilet. Each bed has its own privacy curtain and personal light, which I appreciated. There are also power outlets conveniently located at each bed. Wi-Fi worked smoothly without any issues, and free laundry is available, which is a great bonus for travelers. There are designated quiet hours, so you can sleep comfortably. During my stay, it was peaceful and no one snored. The host even asked whether I snore, which shows he is considerate of all guests. The other guests were polite and respectful. I was the only foreigner staying there, and the rest were Chinese travelers who were likely in the same situation, unable to secure train tickets that night. The property is non-smoking, which I also appreciated. The only minor downside is for taller guests. I am 183 cm (6 ft), and I had to curl up slightly since the bed length appears to be around 180 cm. It was manageable, but something to keep in mind if you’re tall. The location is very convenient. It’s next to the train station, and you can easily take the subway if you have luggage. It only cost me 2 RMB to ride, so there’s really no need to take a taxi. In the morning, I bought pork steamed buns and soy milk from a nearby vendor, he was friendly, and the food was great. For $4, this was outstanding value. If you’re looking for a clean, affordable, and convenient place to stay near Shenzhen North, this is an excellent option. Stayed here with a friend and it exceeded our expectations! The room was spotless with good natural light and consistent hot water. It's super convenient for dining and shopping downstairs, and transportation is a breeze. Great value for money for friends traveling together, and we had a very comfortable stay. I had a very good overall stay at Aurora Youth Hostel Shenzhen. The biggest positive for me was the cleanliness. The room and shared areas were clean and well maintained, and the beds and bedding were in good condition. For a hostel, having a clean and comfortable place to sleep makes a huge difference, and this was definitely one of the strongest points of my stay. The facilities were also excellent. The room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and the hostel had a pleasant and practical setup for travelers. The bunk beds were comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was suitable for people who are traveling on a budget but still want a decent and clean place to stay. The location was good as well. It was convenient enough for getting around Shenzhen and exploring the city, although I wouldn't say the location was the absolute best part of the experience. With a little planning, it was easy to get where I needed to go. The main area that needs improvement is the service. Unfortunately, this was noticeably weaker compared with the cleanliness and facilities. The staff experience could be more welcoming, responsive, and helpful, especially when guests need assistance or have questions. A more professional and guest-oriented approach from the staff would make the overall experience much better. Overall, I would still recommend this hostel, especially to travelers who prioritize cleanliness, good facilities, and value for money. If the service were improved, this place could easily become one of the better hostel options in Shenzhen. Despite the service issues, I had a comfortable stay and would consider staying here again.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. First off, the location is fantastic, making it super easy to get around. The room itself was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The service was also exceptional; from the front desk to the housekeeping staff, everyone was warm, attentive, and quick to respond. Given the facilities and the meticulous service, it offers excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

I had a very pleasant stay at Galaxy Apartment in Shenzhen and can honestly recommend this place. The best part of these apartments is the staff. The team is incredibly kind, attentive and helpful. I would especially like to mention the young man at the reception on the 25th floor. He was always polite, friendly, responsive and ready to help with any question. This level of service really made a strong impression on me. I had an issue with mobile internet signal in one of the rooms, which was very important for me because I use a foreign SIM card and need stable connection. After I explained the situation to the manager at the reception, they reacted very quickly and offered me another room the next day. In the new room everything worked well, so the problem was solved professionally and without any stress. The location is also excellent. The metro station is only about 5 minutes away, and a large shopping mall is also within a short walking distance. There are many restaurants, shops, supermarkets and malls nearby, so everything you need is very close. The view from the room was also very nice. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. Great location, nice apartment, good view, and most importantly, very kind and responsive staff. I would rate it 10/10 and strongly recommend these apartments. Такой уровень сервиса действительно оставил очень хорошее впечатление. У меня была проблема с мобильным интернетом в одной из комнат. Для меня это было критично, потому что я пользуюсь иностранной SIM-картой и мне нужен стабильный сигнал. После обращения к управляющему на ресепшене сотрудники быстро отреагировали и уже на следующий день предложили мне другой номер. В новой комнате проблем не было, вопрос решили профессионально, спокойно и без лишнего стресса. Локация тоже отличная. До метро примерно 5 минут, до большого торгового центра тоже около 5 минут пешком. Рядом много ресторанов, магазинов, супермаркетов и торговых центров, поэтому все необходимое находится буквально рядом. Вид из окна также был очень хорошим. В целом мне все очень понравилось. Отличная локация, приятные апартаменты, хороший вид, а главное - очень добрый и отзывчивый персонал. Оценка 10 из 10. Очень рекомендую эти апартаменты, вы точно не пожалеете.

Fantastic, absolutely fantastic! The service was truly excellent, and I loved that they have a robot delivering food, so I didn't have to go downstairs. The facilities were also really good, and it was a bonus to get a room on a high floor. Had a great time and a very comfortable stay!

After comparing many hotels, I chose this one and it was definitely the right decision. The hotel is located right next to the planetarium, and a 8-minute walk downstairs will take you to Beach #2. There's a convenience store and restaurant right next to the building. The room isn't small, it's clean and tidy, and the bathroom even has a smart toilet. The disposable amenities were also of very good quality. It's only an 8-minute drive to the observatory, and there are no other buildings beyond that, making the rooftop perfect for stargazing. The front desk staff were also very friendly and even helped with our luggage. It was a very pleasant stay.

This is a really interesting hidden gem of a hotel! The lobby has two ferns, and there's another one in the breakfast area on the ninth floor – pretty common varieties. There's also a climbing fern in the rooftop corridor on the ninth floor, but I regret not taking a picture! Such a shame, such a shame. Next time I stay here, I'll definitely remember to snap a photo! Highly recommend for those who like it!

This is a honest review about Jufuyuan Apartment. The location is around 10 minutes away from Dongmen Pedestrian Street and the grocery store but there is a 24/7 convenience store located downstairs. Upon check in I asked the lady boss why there was no sofa compared to the pictures on the website as she told me different rooms have different layouts. There was a problem with the AC on the living area that is why the guy boss had to adjust the room temperature for us to sleep comfortably. It can sleep 4 people as we were billeted on the 31st floor. The guy boss was so kind as to help me order items from taobao as I needed to order items from the app and my alipay wont connect to the taibao app that is why I asked him to use his app and he ordered for me. He also helped me to look for a key duplicating store on the last day as I stayed there for 5 days. But I can't say much about the lady boss(his wife) as we asked her for help on the last day to book a didi taxi since I don't know how to use the app. She didn't help me and told me to ask someone downstairs to book it yet the guard didn't know how to either. We can speak mandarin but I find the attitude of the lady boss not so good compared to his husband who was so kind to help me out. Good thing a taxi stopped by and we were able to catch a ride to the port going back to HK. It was raining then so we had to take a taxi back to the port. Location wise it is okay if youre not with seniors as my parents had a hard time going to the Pedestrian street(30 mins walk from them). There was typhoon for 2 days so we didn't go out. My parents were sick but the good thing is there was a hospital in front and a pharmacy besides it, wherein I bought medicines and food for them. Subway is around 200 meters but you need to carry your stuff going down as there was no escalator going down only up. 4 Restaurants were across the apartment. There were several small roaches that they really need to disinfect the room as I saw them crawling on the wall. Most units then were not occupied as it was lean season but saw some units have a balcony wherein ours didn't have any. If not for the kindness of the guy boss I would say I still had a pleasant experience staying there. The apartment is more of an Airbnb type that you have to provide everything. No water or tea was provided during our stay. There was a washing machine besides the bathroom which helped us to wash our clothes when we were there.

Very dirty place. The common area for the ladies was full of trash, tables dirty and the bathroom dirty. The beds were hard, matresses very thin and for a tall person above 1.72m it is not advisable. They also have shelves at the head of the beds so if you are talles you will slam your head in those. The balcony was full of dirt and people's clothes. It was very hard to find and the front gate was locked and had to spend good amount of time with the security guards until they understood that I have a reservation. Basically these are big apartment buildings so some rooms will be in complex B, others complex C. The receptionist were kind but very disorganized. People in the common area were super unfriendly and actually rude. All in all, I don't recommend this place.
