The Hamps hotel ShenZhen is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Hamps hotel ShenZhen offers a pleasant stay in Shenzhen for those traveling for business or leisure. With Futian Railway Station just 13km away and Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport only 21km away, transportation is very convenient. Being just minutes away from Yuehaimen Metro Station allows guests to explore the city with ease. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center, Kexing Science and Technology Park and B.Duck Dreamland Carnival(OCT Harbour) all nearby. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. Germaphobes can rest easy - the level of cleanliness is highly rated at this hotel. Perfect for those working on the move, this hotel caters to a large number of business guests.

"Stayed here during the Qingming Festival and I'm so glad I chose this hotel! It was a perfect experience and really took a lot of pressure off me as a first-time solo mom traveling with a child. A special shout-out to the housekeeping staff – their thoughtful service was an absolutely huge plus! I highly recommend upgrading to a room with a night view; the scenery outside the window is truly amazing. Plus, the hotel is conveniently located close to Shenzhen University Yuehai Campus, Shenzhen University Metro Station, and Yuehaimen Metro Station, all within walking distance!"

00baohetang0💙 I never knew Shenzhen had such pristine, glass-clear waters! 🌤️ 🌈 This is the hotel's private beach. It's quite secluded with no commercial areas nearby, and the drive in involves about half an hour on a somewhat winding mountain road, so self-driving is definitely recommended. 💕 However, the hotel facilities are comprehensive, offering Chinese and Western restaurants, a bar, KTV, gym, and tea room. There's even a 7-Eleven convenience store. ————————————————————— ☀️ The hotel's public areas are incredibly photogenic. 🍜 The food is genuinely affordable! Since you can't order takeout at all from the surroundings, having both Western and Chinese food options is great, and the prices are truly amazing! Who can imagine that in a big city like Shenzhen, at a hotel like this, a can of Coke is ¥2, fried rice is ¥25, and fresh juice 🍹 is ¥8... It's incredibly good value, delicious, and budget-friendly! The soft drinks are especially good. ————————————————————— There's a gym (with decent equipment), a library, a children's play area, and KTV (I haven't been inside these three, so I can't comment). In the evenings, there's live singing, bonfires, and fireworks. ☀️ The environment, needless to say, is very picturesque. When I was there, there weren't any 'influencer' photoshoots happening, and the staff were quite particular about pool hygiene, requiring guests to rinse off sand before entering the pool. 🌈 Overall satisfaction: 4 stars. The missing star is due to the many stairs and too many insects. ❌❌ The cleanliness was just average; there were even melon seed shells left by the previous guest in the room ಥ_ಥ It's suitable for couples and families, and a stay of 2-3 days would be quite enjoyable.

GGuest UserI've been working too hard lately, so I decided to take a short break at the St. Regis Qianhai OCT this weekend. The hotel's facilities are superb and the aesthetic is high-end, but the service was really subpar. I arrived at 2:50 PM, and the guy at the front desk checking me in was greasy, slow, and arrogant. Well, people have different personalities, so I didn't want to nitpick, and I just put up with it. Then I was told my room wasn't ready and I'd have to wait about half an hour. Around 3 PM is when I usually feel sleepy, and all I wanted was to check in quickly and catch a nap. But to keep my holiday mood intact, I put up with it again. So I sat in the lobby reading a book, waiting to check in. However, after waiting fifty minutes, other guests who were also waiting in the lobby had all checked in, and the greasy front desk guy had disappeared – no one was paying attention to me. After a bit more waiting, a female staff member noticed me and asked if I was waiting to check in. I said yes. She took my name to check, and in no time, found that my room was ready, then led me to the elevator. I was truly baffled – if it weren't for this lady, how much longer would that greasy guy have made me wait? On the way to the elevator, I was even more surprised. We ended up walking alongside a group of people viewing properties for sale. The sales agent was loudly introducing the development to several clients as they walked, taking up the entire hallway. The female staff member leading me to the elevator looked conflicted, and finally just led me straight through the middle of their group. To my surprise, this same group and I got into the same elevator. They continued to loudly discuss the property throughout the ride, which felt really low-class! Also, neither the butler nor the turndown service attendant had their phones on silent, which was very impolite. Lastly, at breakfast, no one showed me to a table or asked if I wanted coffee or tea. Overall, the service was quite disappointing.

GGuest UserMy stay at the JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen Bao'an was an exceptional experience. The room design was elegant and grand, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering expansive views of the Shenzhen cityscape. The room was spacious and well-laid out, with attention to detail that spoke to its quality and thoughtfulness. The guest services team was also impressive; the dining options were exquisite and varied, and the ambiance was quiet and comfortable, perfect for relaxation or light work. The service, in particular, was impeccable – professional yet attentive, with quick responses that made me feel truly at home. The bedding was soft and comfortable, making for a quiet and pleasant overall stay. Whether for business travel or a leisure vacation, this hotel is a highly recommended choice.

GGuest UserPros - Both our rooms at level 10 were relatively close to each other facing the Wong Tee Plaza. It might be a way of the said front desk staff allocating these rooms to us to compensate for our unpleasant check in experience (see below). Spectacular views and we managed to spectate the night light show on Saturday without needing to go to the Civic Centre. - Facilities are great including 24-hour well equipped gym and sauna (best of all hotels in China we experienced so far). - Rooms are relatively new and fully equipped with necessities, has a dyson air dryer, Toto automatic toilet, automated curtains and a steamer to iron the clothes. - Breakfast had a lot of varieties to offer (personally loved the oden and sushi section), good service too. - Housekeeping was amazing. As I was leaving my room, Joy asked if we were interested in their laundry services and we declined as we do not have much laundry to do. After the first day of housekeeping, she noticed we did simple laundry (1-2 pieces of undergarment) and offered us a complimentary mini laundry detergent. We appreciate her thoughtfulness despite the fact that we initially declined her services. - Check out was relatively seamless, I believe it was the front office manager that managed our check out and explained the deposit refund procedures accordingly. - Concierge was decent too as they suggested we are better off getting a Didi to transfer our move to our next destination, and helped us load our bags to the Didi. Cons The only downside experience was check in. We requested if it would be possible to have interconnecting rooms (all good if not, at least as close to each other as possible within the same floor). We were advised that given interconnecting rooms are not available for the same type of rooms: 1.The staff provided an offer (upgrade to one of the bigger rooms that has interconnecting room with free 3 days hotel breakfast for 2 out of 4 pax). The quote/offer was outside of our budget hence we declined the offer and we just accept our original booking via Trip.com with no interconnecting rooms. 2.After we declined, the staff informed us that she miscalculated the price (from RMB 31k down to RMB 20k) for the same offer. This is very odd/confusing to us especially with the price difference due to miscalculation, and she was trying to push this offer to us again which we declined. At this point, whatever price quoted to us of this offer lost its credibility and we proceeded to stick to our original booking. 3.The staff said that she will notify us via WeChat (she added us on WeChat) once the room is ready. Understood at that time it was before check in time (i.e. before 3pm) hence we decided to grab lunch and come back after the check in time. It was past 3pm and we heard nothing from her upon returning to hotel and had to approach the front desk to ask for an update. The same staff managed to provide us key card for one of the rooms while the other room is still not ready (it was past 3:20pm at that time). She said that she will arrange one of her coworkers to deliver the keycards to us once that other room is ready. Around 3:50-4:20pm, we heard nothing (I walked past the other room and noted the housekeeping has finished cleaning up the room and left). I had to go to the front desk to request an update and eventually obtained the keycard. I am not sure if the above stems from the individual's motivation or if this is part of the hotel's standard procedure to aggressively upsell (even if we already said no) or if the front desk is pressured to meet monthly KPIs, but that left us an unpleasant check in experience and obviously did not represent the check in hospitality standards of the hotel itself. Aside from the check in, we loved everything hence we had to give 4 out of 5.

GGuest UserSumi, the Executive Lounge Supervisor, provided truly excellent service! The entire front office team was incredibly attentive. Leo and Natalie at the front desk, along with Kayla and Irene in the lounge, made me feel completely at home. I'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend everyone come and experience the best hotel in Shenzhen.

JJule_zHad a great stay! The hotel's location is pretty good, close to the subway station, about a 10-minute walk. It's connected to 3 subway lines, making getting around very convenient, especially Line 11, which goes directly to the airport in less than an hour. There's also a shopping mall right next door, so shopping is a breeze. I stayed in an executive room, and the layout and flow were very well-designed. Some of the facilities showed thoughtful attention to detail, and the British-style decor was very comfortable. The square bathtub was quite unique – it was great to watch TV while taking a bath. The double sinks were a nice touch, and the shower had excellent water pressure with a good hot water supply. Room service was prompt, even though some amenities were out of stock. Their explanations and handling of the situation were spot-on, so I was still very impressed! The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the dining experience was good. Cheong fun (rice noodle rolls) and ramen were made to order, and there were cards on the tables to prevent long queues and crowding. The lounge's afternoon tea had a rich selection and was delicious. The evening light meal was decent one day but not so good on another. The male staff in the lounge were very friendly and attentive, while the female staff were a bit more formal. The gym and swimming pool were both quite clean. Overall, it was a very positive experience. Recommended!

Jjessca1978This is a landmark hotel. The front desk staff were very welcoming and arranged for an upgrade to a high-floor corner room. We had a great view of the New Territories of Hong Kong on one side and the Shenzhen cityscape on the other. Even the separate work area had a view, so the entire room offered a 270-degree panoramic view. The service butler was attentive, proactively bringing our luggage to the room and providing complimentary coffee, tea, and other drinks. They also offered robot delivery for takeout, which was convenient and quite fast. If you're driving, you park in the underground garage, then need to take an elevator to the first floor, switch to another elevator to the front desk, and then take yet another elevator to your room.

TTenajestOverall experience is satisfactory even though there is some issue happened where the front desk has made immediate compensation. The hotel is near the fairy wheel and outdoor shopping mall that is very connivence. Hotel executive complimentary is the best, where I can enjoy the most in the hotel with tea, wine and late check out. The suite they compensate is very spacious and nice. However, due to the construction site next to hotel, the standard room is comparatively noisy and there are multiple flying ants existed in the room, which annoyed me. Hotel should be more cautious while they are cleaning and balcony should not open to avoid insects fly in from construction sites.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is grand and luxurious. The lobby is on the 57th floor, so you have to transfer elevators there to go up or down, which is a bit inconvenient. However, the rooms are very spacious and clean, and the staff are all very enthusiastic. The area around the hotel is a bit quiet, but there's a subway station about 200 meters away, and it's a short taxi ride to nearby shopping centers and attractions.

2203993****The location is good, right next to Lianhua Mountain. Downstairs there's a restaurant, and across the street, there's a small supermarket and other dining options. Cross the pedestrian bridge and you're in Meilin, so it's very convenient for food. Subway: It's about 600-700 meters from Lianhua North Station (Line 4), a 5-6 minute walk. Hotel Environment: It's a bit older, so the facilities are a little dated. Service: The service was very good, and they responded quickly. When I checked into my room, I found the door lock was broken, and the hotel immediately upgraded my room. That was excellent!👍🏻 Overall, the value for money is pretty good, considering the price and the advantageous location.
