The hotel is inside a building which requires swipe access, if you are a visitor you would need a mainland chinese phone number to complete registration, otherwise would be quite annoying as you will have to ask the security for a paper registration. The building entrance is hidden from main street, took us some time to find it. It is in a very old building, the room is visibly old, reception is not on the same floor. The room is very old with stains on the floor or cupboards. The bedding is stained so we bought disposable bedding. The bathroom is old and dim, one of the lights were broke, but they fixed it on our request, though the bathroom was still very dim. Walls are thin, could hear noises from upstairs and next doors, could also smell if someone is cooking or smoking. Aircon is poor as it is a central system, room was stuffy on a 34 degrees day. Location is alright, not as convenient as advertised, would have to walk quite a while to the nearest metro station, we got a taxi around. But there is a large mall 15 mins walk away.

Location is very good close to Shenzhen Station and Luohu crossing. However, cleanliness and amenities are very low. The room was very dirty and was hard to find as the hotel is part of a larger residential building.

The sanitary environment is very poor! There were two cockroaches in the room on the first night. One was crawling on the glass in the bathroom, and one was crawling under the sofa. It was scary.
