AB Hotel Shiojiri Reviews

Hotel is clean and and has washing machine/dryer fot travellers to use! In house onsen for hotel stayers to use. Only downside is that the hotel is not very near to train stations!

I am pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room was not too small and bathroom and toilet were separate. At reception I was greeted with a welcome drink and in the first floor there are microwaves and washing machines. Around the hotel are many eateries, shops and supermarkets. You can walk there. The breakfast was enough with quite a bit of choice. I think, the parking runs out fast. So arriving earlier is better.

New and nice hotel

I stayed here while traveling to Kamikochi. It was conveniently located near the Kita-Shiojiri Interchange.

Very good, convenient hotel

It's a new building, so it's not dirty. It's right in front of the national highway, so it's close to Matsumoto, so I think it's good for people with cars. The only thing was that the hot water in the large public bath first thing in the morning was so lukewarm that I couldn't get out unless I warmed up in the shower. Others are impressions of a beautiful business hotel. The hotel staff were all nice.

Location was good because it was a car, but I think it's inconvenient for trains. It was nice to have plenty of parking. Loved the breakfast. There are not many items, but it was delicious.

I always use it. It feels good to take a private bath with my daughter. Also, I would like to use it.

The large bath and breakfast are great

It was located along Route 19 and was easy to access both Matsumoto and Shiojiri. There were many parking lots, and the car was parked smoothly. There is also a ramen shop right next to the hotel, so you won't have any trouble eating. It was a comfortable stay with all the necessary items such as a coin laundry and a bathhouse.

Stayed here for the first time in 2 years. The rooms are kept clean and have a good feeling. I was a little worried that the man at the front desk at check-in was a little unfriendly, but other than that, there was no problem. Only 3 lockers were available, probably because of the corona sickness, restricting the entrance to the public bath, but when I went there, there was no one and it was reserved. The hot water was a little hot, and I was able to warm my body in the cold weather. The air conditioner in the room did not work well and it took a long time to warm up. Breakfast went past 8:00, but there was side dish all right, too. I thought it was appropriate for the free breakfast and the cheap accommodation fee. By the way, the signboard light at the top of the building is out, so be careful if you are using it for the first time.

This room is like a minimalist model that even if you put a large TV in a small room, you can use it as much as you like if you devise the layout. It is full if three people enter on the first floor, but I am grateful that there is a large communal bath. It is a tiny hotel that is just right for a single woman. There is a convenience store within a 10-minute walk, but a car is recommended.
