Magnificent little paradise in Siem Reap. Welcoming and accommodating staff, stunning facilities, and clean, comfortable accommodations. The decor is unconventional—either you love it or you don't; personally, I love it!

We have been traveling for 3 weeks now and this resort is by the best we have enjoyed. The staff was amazing, anticipated our every need, and then some.

The resort is fantastic. While staying in a small hut I felt like a visitor on an island. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They even helped me when I had problems with my credit card. The massages I booked were great, too. The food is good.

It is good to go around the tourist spots and explore the city! The pool is clean, the room is clean, and the staff is all smiling, nice, and helpful! We extended another two nights again 💕

The staff's response was really pleasant. The staff member saw us coming out of the room when we checked out, checked the room, found something we had left behind, and immediately ran after us to let us know. This is a typical example of great customer service. Here are two examples. I had to take a vehicle to get to the downtown area and sightseeing spots, and sometimes the sounds of plants and animals bothered me at night, but I woke up to the chirping of birds in the morning and could access almost anywhere by taking a tuk-tuk. It's done. My son was very happy that the room had not only a private pool but also a bathtub, and I'm glad we were able to spend three days relaxing.

It was absolutely marvelous! I have no words. We stayed at villa with a jacuzzi and it was wonderful. We could hop inside whenever we wanted and there is a big pool around the restaurant/bar area and smaller behind the reception as well. (The big one is 40x10m with 2m deep and addition on the sides like 30x10m which gets gradually shallower to 0,5m) Everything was clean - of course there was some palm leaves in our jacuzzi, but who would care! The breakfast is unique -you can order fress omelete, pancake or noodle soup. Also the cocktails in the bar are delicious (costs 6$) We also tried the traditional khmer “pressure” massage (90min of course;) and I am pretty sure it was one of the best massages in town! (I know Thai massage but this is a different one and very pleasant one and also relaxing and muscle releasing). Last but not least I must mention the hotel staff - they were absolutely great! They smiled all the time, spoke nice english and absolutely nothing was a problem. We stayed for 4 nights, spent most time on trips (around temples in Angkor area or village on Tonlé Sap) but all the time we were almost sorry not to be able to just lay down at sunbed next to a bar with a cocktail in our hand! Definitely worth the money and the calmness in the evening was amazing (of course due to the aircondition and nature - frogs and insects concert outside we slept mainly with the earbuds) Thank you very much!

This hotel was well located a short tuk-tuk ride from the centre of town. Located down a short lane the resort is a tranquil jungle hideaway. We stayed in the coconut bungalow and found it spacious and well appointed overlooking a Lilly pond. The private pool was fantastic after a hot day at Angkor Wat. The main pool was also good for a resort of this size. If being highly critical I would say that this resort is a little tired with some loose boards on the walk ways and the thatch was missing from some of the roofs. While this may be authentic for Cambodia it needs a bit of work and to be fair this appeared to be in progress. As it was low season during our visit we were informed that the breakfast would be pre-ordered the day before. This made sense given how quiet it was and the breakfast choices were acceptable although a buffet would have been nice. They did prepare us a packed breakfast for our sunrise trip to Angkor Wat. Slightly unusual in our experience there was a sign in the room stating that "no outside food and drink was allowed to be consumed". We abided by the house rules but were somewhat surprised one night after stopping for some water and snacks at the local supermarket to take out with us to the temples. We carried the shopping in a supermarket bag and were challenged by the staff at the front desk as to what we had been buying. This was somewhat out of character as the staff were largely friendly

We were made to feel very welcome and were looked after extremely well by the friendly and helpful staff. The gardens and pools were beautiful and the kids enjoyed spotting frogs and different species of butterfly and dragonfly. We were given a free upgrade from a villa with jacuzzi to one with a private pool. Total luxury for hot kids and worn out parents alike.

Despite the traditional motif, the rooms are well furnished with all the necessary amenities to make for an exceptionally comfortable stay. Treat yourself and book a stay at Authentic Khmer Resort. The resort's serene atmosphere and stunning traditional Khmer architecture were highlights, offering a peaceful escape from the bustling city. However, the limited menu options left me wanting more variety, and the very dark pathways after hours posed a challenge when I had early morning tours. Despite these minor inconveniences, the beauty and tranquility of the property made my stay worthwhile. I highly recommend this resort for solo travelers seeking a blend of luxury and authenticity in Siem Reap.
