Hotels near City Square Mall in Singapore

This was really one of the best hotels we stayed at for a weekend family staycation given the price! Location is so good! It’s in between City Square mall & Mustafa Center. So many eateries around as well. Waiting area lounge is also so comfy with water and an ice cream machine which my children love! 🥰 The room was a superior king sized one which had an office chair and a sofa seat too along with a large table and smaller one. Toilet was also decent with shower area and toilet has a built in bidet. We were also kindly given a birthday cake as I noted that it was my son’s belated birthday! 🎂 We were on the 19th floor and there was an ice bucket in our room as there’s an ice dispenser outside. The view was good too from our room. 😍 Amenities such as pool and gym are all on the 6th floor. We didn’t get breakfast this round but we would love to be back to try it the next round! 😊

because of our bad experience at the greendili, we moved out and stayed here instead. they are just near each other. we became friends with one of the staff who was very accommodating to us. but the guy who he switched shift with was the exact opposite of him. had to pay 35SGD for the extra person charge. we had complimentary bottles of water. air conditioner though wasn't that cold. bathroom was spacious. near Ferrer Park mrt station (around 2blocks). checked out around 10am and they let us leave our bags at their storage room, went back for it around 8pm.

Location of the hotel was great with many eateries around but that was about it. At first glance, the room looked ok; however, it had a foul and fishy smell upon entering. It was small but if you are just looking for a bed to rest and a bathroom to wash up, it will suffice. Not recommended for people who are not petite in size as it is really cramped. The lighting was dim and there was no window; it took a while for my eyes to get used to it and after that, I realised that there were dust and hair everywhere, even on the bed. Upon further scrutiny, I saw ants - endless trails of them, crawling on the walls, along the bed, on the table, in the bathroom. I took videos but unfortunately, only pictures can be posted here and the ants were too small to be seen and appeared as white dots. Some even came onto the bed. It was really uncomfortable and made me feel itchy all over. As the air conditioner was very dusty and the bed was right underneath it, there was black dust all over the sheets. The towels had holes in them and they were dirty. There was litter in the shower area and I found a cockroach crawling on the sink in the bathroom. I can understand about the thin walls and hearing noises along the corridor but cleanliness is something that cannot be compromised, even in a budget/3-Star hotel. In fact, there are cleaner and cheaper hotels in the same area. I am deeply disappointed because I was there to celebrate my birthday and it was indeed unforgettable, in a very terrible way. This is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

New hotel and therefore everything is new and clean. Room is decent with good A/C. Just that their superior room’s double bed is made up of 2 single beds combined. Check in process was seamless and fast. Location wise, it’s about 7 mins walking distance to nearest MRT (Farrer Park), where the city square mall is.

Good hotel but room will be a bit smaller than you think. They only give body towels (no facial or hand towel) and do not have “do not disturb” sign

Awesome hotel, beautifully decorated and excellent service staff. Great area to be in away from crowds. Brilliant whiskey library with an amazing selection of whiskey and very very good cocktails. Breakfast was well prepared with decent selection (some of everything if you have different cravings). Room was small so don’t expect to bring huge luggages for the basic room but it was perfect for 2N with my girlfriend. Clean rooms, again well decorated and comfortable beds, clean showers (rain and regular showerhead) and soaps were awesome. Their line of soaps and perfumes are very interesting and we are checking it out aside from our trip. Not a single negative feedback I have.

Had an awesome 1 night stay here! I paid $123 and for what I got, it was pretty great value especially since I booked it on the day itself. Hotel was newly renovated with tasteful decor and the staff were very friendly! The room wasn’t big and the toilet was small however, it was very clean and decently equipped. They had a rooftop pool which unfortunately I didn’t get to try.. Location was pretty good too with a plethora of eateries nearby and two MRT stations which were walking distance. Overall, it was a great experience and would highly recommend anyone to stay here! 9.5/10 stars ✨

We, the three musketeers of my family again embarked on a south Asian voyage and again we landed at Singapore exactly an year after since our last visit. But unlike last time, when we came here along with a bunch of family members, this time we kept it short at just the three of us. Singapore as always is ever mesmerizing and the warmth of this visit him catapulted to another level owing to our accommodation option ie Hotel Arianna at Syed Alwi road, little India. Hotel Arianna is a budget option for travellers who don't want to splurge too much on accommodation. The rooms though a little small are super clean along with an attached washrooms. The hotel has got smiling and welcoming staff who make sure that our stay with them was super convenient and comfortable. The biggest advantage of this hotel is it's proximity to Metro Stations and also to Mustafa Shopping Centre. There is an array of eating joints, tourist destinations like Buggy's village, Orchard street etc near Hotel Arianna. To sum it up, hotel Arianna just left an unexpected impression upon us with its facilities, welcoming and super friendly staff and off course it's super clean rooms.

The room looks old but is kept clean except for the blanket which have an obvious stain mark, but since its at the edge I'm willing to look past this. Aircond controls seems to be not working, making the room very cold eventhough fan had been set lowest and temperature the highest. The floor being tiles only doesn't help as well. Otherwise its a good 2 nights stay for me considering the convenient location. Service by the staffs are satisfactory as well.

Overall we had an okay stay. Room is okay but a little pricey for what it offered for when we booked and stayed. Water refilled and towels were changed but did not give toiletries refill. But overall we had a smooth experience and the front desk were helpful. Location is nice as well.
