Great boutique hotel in maxwell area, close to 2 mrt stations and a great hawker center! room is rather darker than usual, i got the shophaus type. But all in all was a good stay, ideal for couples with no children

This is a room I booked at short notice, but it was surprisingly good. Although the room is small, the whole hotel is decorated very uniquely, with a petty bourgeoisie atmosphere. There are also many bars nearby.

Located within walking distance from Maxwell MRT. Accessible to many cafes and there is a 7-11 just located opposite of the hotel.
Room is quite small so it will be quite difficult to move around if there are multiple luggages. Basic amenities are provided such as toothbrush & toothpaste, comb, shaving set & shower cap. However noted that there are no mineral water provided (Evian water is chargeable). There is kettle in the room so you can boil your own water or get it from 7-11 just across the street.
Visible worn out look and dust is seen in the room. Also, noted some ants in the washroom. So cleanliness can be improved.
Our room comes with access to their executive lounge but certain service such as afternoon nibbles are only available at Maxwell Reserve (walkable distance). Pool and gym are also only available at the other location. Breakfast and evening cocktail is available in the hotel itself.
If you're looking for a boutique hotel with unique design, can consider to stay a night as it is located near to many food areas.

Next to Koreatown and Chinatown, the location is very good, quiet amidst the hustle and bustle.
The lady at the front desk helped me find the clothes I forgot in the room, and the service was good

Boutique hotel located centrally with unique interior design. Enjoyed the tapas style food prepared by their Chef during cocktail hour. Service at sister hotel- Maxwell Reserve's cafe, was lacklustre (staff was inattentive and not prompt). However, we really appreciated the service from a few staff over at Duxton Reserve. In particular Joel and his Indian teammate. They were friendly and attentive to details (e.g. remembering names and preference of drinks). Their service exemplified the qualities of hospitality truly. If you are looking for a place with a unique design, peace and quiet, and don't mind the lack of facilities (e.g. pool/gym), give this a shot. Otherwise, you are better off trying other places

It can be said that the price of 2,500 a night is the worst hotel I have stayed in in recent years. There is no place to walk with luggage in the room. The windows are small and weird. The bathroom is not separated from wet and dry. The TV is hidden in the mini bar. I don’t like people who comment I couldn't help it anymore, I communicated with the hotel after I stayed in the room today, and I will be refunded for the next few nights. book carefully
