Hotels Near Tanah merah Ferry Terminal in Singapore

Good location, lots of places to eat plus walking distance to bus stop towards the city and Kembangan MRT station. About 2 or 3 front desk service staff are welcoming and polite, both check-in and check-out is fast but there is just 1 lift and 1 staircase to go up and down. Room is ok for me, the aircon is cold and the lights are working fine except for the safe box in my room which was spolit in the last day of check-out and luckily it was solved by housekeeping uncle (hope the safe box would be back to normal). Toilet is a bit small, but the bed is ok yet firm, even though there are a couple of ants both on the table and outside of the safe box but that don't bothered me. Bathtub is ok but the floor might be slippery so better be careful, towels are replenished, the mini fridge is ok, TV can watch just Mediacorp shows and power plug are working properly. Overall it is a good budget hotel if you are not that fussy, so who knows I may come back to book this hotel again.

Hotel 81 in Singapore provided a pleasant and convenient stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and adequately furnished, while the staff were friendly and responsive. The hotel's central location and easy access to public transportation were advantageous for exploring the city. Though it lacked extensive facilities, the complimentary Wi-Fi and essential amenities were appreciated. Overall, Hotel 81 offered good value for money and is recommended for budget-conscious travelers seeking a decent place to stay in a convenient location.

Stayed here many times and always came back here when I come to Singapore. Room is small, but since I’m staying alone, it’s perfectly fine and just the right size for me. Location is not the center of Singapore, but it’s right above the MRT stations. So many food stalls right beside the hotel. Only one stop to bugis, and only 5 stops to Orchard (with transfer at City Hall). I prefer this hotel than any hotels near city but far from MRT station. It’s clean. The staffs are helpful and friendly enough. Always my choice to stay when I visit Singapore.

Good hotel but room will be a bit smaller than you think. They only give body towels (no facial or hand towel) and do not have “do not disturb” sign

I was celebrating my husband’s birthday at Ritz Carlton. We were amazed with the service and room assigned. The club lounge has excellent service, would specifically love to compliment, Firdaus and Moira. Both of them had made our stay an extraordinary experience. We will love to be back for more celebrations. High recommending hotel to enjoy excellent service and view!

Folks and I stayed a night at Hotel Mi Rochor. Prompt and fuss free check-in and we got our rooms on the same level as requested. Though the room was fairly small, but it's really adequate for two guests even with luggage. Beds and pillows were firm and clean, to our likings. Both rooms were really clean and there's an additional tap for premium drinking water, and there's kettle available for warm water and hot beverages. The toilet/shower is small, but the tap/sink is situated outside the toilet, so that's convenient. It was pouring the whole day, but that didn't deter us from heading out. I overheard that the hotel doesn't provide any umbrellas, but you can purchase raincoats/umbrellas at the 7-11 situated right next to the hotel. We had ours, and we headed out for our lunch and dinner at Waterloo and Bugis areas, just 5 - 10 minutes walk away. Rochor mrt station is just next to Hotel Mi, so we could also reach Marina/Suntec area within 5 minutes. I like this location as it's just walking distance to the main streets for F&B/shoppings/sightseeing activities, but yet we are away from the noise and buzz. So we could have good quiet early rest.

The lobby is great, workers are nice. But the condition of the hallway is really bad, the paint of the wall is ugly, the smell is bad; the condition of the room is much better than the hallway, but still a bit out of date. The breakfast is bad, not enough plate and fork, the waitress is washing while people are waiting, and the plate will be in service right after the sink, no disinfect, so does the fork. Hope the hotel can renovate the hallway and bedroom to match the standard of the lobby. Also, hope it would have enough place and fork for the breakfast or at least disinfect after cleaning.

Solo traveler, spent 4 nights there. Hostel is kinda meh in itself, and has two big flaws. Location is definitely really good, basically in the very center of Singapore, metro and bus stops are nearby. But it's kinda the only good thing. Ah yes, apart from quite detailed city guides on the wall near the reception. - The mattresses are really stiff and thin, I mean it - really stiff! Just uncomfortable to sleep on them, had quite a bad nights there. - There is no proper kitchen, you can microwave something and that's it, can't cook, see the pictures. Also common area is very poorly done, looks like a cheap canteen or something. You can't comfortably socialize there... - Important - here is a night club/bar right near/under the hostel. Entrance to it is literally 2 meters from hostel's entrance. And music is really heard even until 2 am! All the basses, drums - you just hear it, not that loud that you can't sleep, but I was on 4th floor, but if you are on 2nd or 3rd?... Probably would need earplugs lol. - And the BIG DEAL - LOCKERS ARE BASICALLY NOT WORKING AND UNSAFE. See the pictures and you'l understand. They are there, BUT - they made so sloppily that even after you lock the door with a key - you just press *a little bit* on the door from the top - and it opens even while locked, just because the lock's metal thing is just too short and door is too weakly set. So basically I'm sure that everyone can open every locker if they want. Receptionist said sorry for that, but that's it. Not good at all, first hostel I've been with such poor locker execution.

The location is good, I think this hotel is mainly for travellers who just want to find a place to stay but mainly spends most of the time outdoors. My main complaint is the aircon, even after you turn off the aircon the wind is still flowing. The reception said the aircon is centralised, so I requested for extra thick blankets but even so it’s still very cold. I don’t mind the small room size, it comes with standard toothbrush/toothpaste, soap (assuming 2in one), hairdryer.

Hotel is in a great location plus around 5 to 10 minutes walking distance to two bus stops, VivoCity and HarbourFront MRT station. Although I never go to their rooftop restaurant but still got other places to eat like VivoCity and HarbourFront food centre. The inside of the hotel, the common corridor and the swimming pool is ok and although the room is small but that is fine since I am staying alone. I will come back to stay at this hotel in the future if I have the opportunity so thanks so much.
