Hotels Near The Polliwogs @ Clarke Quay Central in Singapore

Solo traveler, spent 4 nights there. Hostel is kinda meh in itself, and has two big flaws. Location is definitely really good, basically in the very center of Singapore, metro and bus stops are nearby. But it's kinda the only good thing. Ah yes, apart from quite detailed city guides on the wall near the reception. - The mattresses are really stiff and thin, I mean it - really stiff! Just uncomfortable to sleep on them, had quite a bad nights there. - There is no proper kitchen, you can microwave something and that's it, can't cook, see the pictures. Also common area is very poorly done, looks like a cheap canteen or something. You can't comfortably socialize there... - Important - here is a night club/bar right near/under the hostel. Entrance to it is literally 2 meters from hostel's entrance. And music is really heard even until 2 am! All the basses, drums - you just hear it, not that loud that you can't sleep, but I was on 4th floor, but if you are on 2nd or 3rd?... Probably would need earplugs lol. - And the BIG DEAL - LOCKERS ARE BASICALLY NOT WORKING AND UNSAFE. See the pictures and you'l understand. They are there, BUT - they made so sloppily that even after you lock the door with a key - you just press *a little bit* on the door from the top - and it opens even while locked, just because the lock's metal thing is just too short and door is too weakly set. So basically I'm sure that everyone can open every locker if they want. Receptionist said sorry for that, but that's it. Not good at all, first hostel I've been with such poor locker execution.

The capsule hotel is good, nothing more and nothing less. But the privacy in the capsule is good and the bed is very comfortable. The price is really good for Singaporean standard and the location is really superb, just in the middle of the city Center, close to Raffles MRT station. But the hygiene is bed. Especially the showers and the toilets. There is no space in the bathroom to put your stuff. There are hooks inside the shower, so your towel and your clothes get wet, it's a really bad construction. The provided towel is very low in quality, when you use it, you'll have alot fluffs. There are no slippers provided. Although the access is really easy and quick. Check out is before 11 am

We recently stayed at Pullman Hill St. for 2 nights after a little odyssey at Munich Airport because of the weather and didn't regret it. The hotel is modern and comfortable, extremely centrally located in the “old part” of Singapore. The roof terrace with the view of the Marina Bay and pool is just wow, the bed was super comfortable, I particularly liked the firmness of the pillows. The design is modern and takes up the railway theme everywhere in a great and skilful way, after all it's about the Pullman wagons 😀 The lobby welcomes you with old suitcases that have various stickers from old, formerly well-known hotels and the same Let's clarify the claim of the house, which obviously wants to see itself in a row with these houses. And it can be that way!!! The room was big enough and we didn't miss anything, a great, large safe that accommodates a laptop computer as well as everything else, a Nespresso coffee machine that served us well when we left at 4 a.m., a shower There's no need to be generous with good-smelling shampoo, shower gel and conditioner. What was also good for us was the provision of a comb packaged in organic quality, which unfortunately didn't make it into our luggage... On the morning of our departure we were provided with a delicious breakfast doggy pack - great! In short, we were very happy with the new Pullman Hill Street and can imagine staying there again if we end up in Singapore.

Location is not the most ideal as it a distance away from the nearest mrt station and cleanliness can be improved as we spotted a used plaster in the bathroom. However, it is generally quiet and peaceful due to its location. The room we were assigned to didn't have much of a view.

The loft studio is really nice! Nice spacious table space that I can do my work at with decent views. Down side was that the shower heater was not working and had to get maintenance to come fix it which was a hassle.

The hotel facilities are quite old. The water pressure is low. It's not as expected as shown by the photos, and I wouldn't really recommend it. However, I would like to compliment the front desk staff; he is very friendly and approachable.

To be honest it was the best hotel we stayed in. The staff was so considerate and kind. They even asked if we are celebrating any occasion and try their best to make it special . We were unsure about our next trip to Singapore but because of kind people and marina bay sands we wanna come again. The service and the staff is spectacular .

This was our second stay at the Hilton Singapore Orchard, and once again, it exceeded our expectations. The hotel’s location on Orchard Road is perfect, offering easy access to shopping malls and a wide variety of dining options. We were traveling as a family, including elderly members, and the hotel was very accommodating. They provided rooms with accessible features, which made our stay much more comfortable for everyone. The overall cleanliness and comfort of the hotel were impressive, and we felt very well taken care of during our stay. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in the heart of Singapore, whether you’re traveling with family or on a solo trip. We look forward to returning in the future.

Good hotel but room will be a bit smaller than you think. They only give body towels (no facial or hand towel) and do not have “do not disturb” sign

This place is cheap and aits on a big road and infront there is a bus stop which is vey nice
