Clean, dated, spa cabin (cabin no 4) with pretty views and superb proximity to the Soldier’s Point Marina where our favourite restaurant, The Deck is located - only a two minute walk away. No king size beds so on the second night we took a bed each, but they were comfortable. Staff were super helpful and friendly. No face washers provided, but sheets and towels and kitchen cutlery, crockery etc was all there. The refrigerator was a decent size and very cold. Car parking for the spa cabin is not within eye sight and I must admit the cabin was very exposed. I didn’t feel super safe. Nothing happened but I certainly wouldn’t leave any valuables around. The flora and fauna provided some great surprises - kookaburras singing joyfully, blue tongue lizards basking on the walkways in the sun, tame lorikeets landing on the outside table while we were having a drink. I think the price (we paid ($194 at the end of august mid week) was ok but I wouldn’t want to stay here for much longer than a night or two.
