Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa

Loved the Fairmont spa experience! Rodney, my massage therapist, was amazing and my swollen legs feel so much better. The pools are therapeutic and the facilities are impressive. I’m a little disappointed in the room because there’s no patio like other rooms next to it, but that’s a small issue. I selected a standard room, but I watched videos of really luxe rooms on social media. Staff is friendly and I’m enjoying my stay. The food is delicious.
Graton Resort & Casino

A shocking discovery. When going out of a Home Depot and some spare time I noticed that right in the middle of a cattle ranch 30 right across the street there was a modern building and 4 or 5 levels parking lot. Picked by curiosity entered and discovered a huge gaming place with three thousand. Gaming Machines, one very modern and elegant Steakhouse, an oriental food restaurant, one Italian Restaurant offering three types of pizza types( Neapolitan, NYC, California) a nice looking Hotel, with all kind of amenities such as nice, clean well appointed SPA, outdoor swimming pool etc etc. it has become one of our favorite places in Sonoma. Conveniently situated at less than 40 minutes from San Francisco. ( shuttle service to the city every half an hour) in sum. A place to visit if you are in the area.
Cloverdale Wine Country Inn & Suites

My cousin came from out of state flew in rented a car and headed to Cloverdale Wine Country Inn where she had a reservation for 2 weeks. When she arrived it was 11:30 p.m. and even though the website states they have 24-hour check-in service nobody was in the office it was closed and the lights were off. She knocked and knocked, at this time it's now quarter to midnight. They knew she was coming and yet nobody received her. After a long day she was exhausted and called me at near midnight. I explained to her to go to Motel 8 at the south end of town and hopefully somebody would be there to receive her so she could get some rest. When she explained to the customer service rep there they claimed this happens all of the time. I want other folks to know what might happen to them. This is not acceptable. The on-site employee is named Oscar. When my relative called in the morning to see what happened he dismissed her complaint and was quite ”sweetly” rude. The general manager Sue Patel needs to know what's going on and has been going on for quite some time apparently from the numerous responses I got on Facebook's Cloverdale community page. Others have had the same issue when they've had family members come to visit. No one is in the lobby to receive them and nobody answers the door after repeated knocking. The receiving person is taking advantage of their position by not being available to nighttime travelers. I hope somebody reads this with the power to fix this issue. My cousin has been coming here for years and has never had this problem before when Sue Patel was running the hotel. Now Oscar is in charge of hotel reservations and being quite lackadaisical in his duties.
The Lodge at Sonoma Resort, Autograph Collection

I stayed at the Lodge over the weekend to attend my Niece’s wedding as many of the other wedding party did and had a wonderful time. The grounds , with the lovely pool, functional gym and the restaurant with the delicious breakfast all made this stay exceptional. The wine tastings in the afternoon were a nice touch and the pre wedding reception at the restaurant was very well arranged. I stayed in a King Cottage suite and it was nicely appointed with a useful fireplace for the chilly evenings and only wished the windows were a bit larger to enjoy the view and to have more natural light in the room but did enjoy the view from my outside terrace. House keeping was a bit more erratic as twice I came back to an unmade room and had to notify the front desk that quickly resolved the issue. Overall a great stay and looking forward to staying there again soon.

The location is convenient, the brand new hotel, the room is spacious, and there will also be a hotel breakfast, this price is worth it.
Vintners Resort

We booked a vineyard view room at a higher price, but when I checked in and went to my room it didn’t have one. I phoned the front desk and was told they upgraded my room, but this room had a lot of issues. One, it was not far from the pool which is under construction and there was constant beeping from heavy equipment. Other issues were that the AC didn’t work; I set it to 68 (it would not set lower) and the temperature of the room never went below 72. Furniture was dated and the top of the bench in front of the bed was peeling. The coffee maker didn’t work and one of the lights in the bathroom was out. Also, they charge a $45 resort fee and the pool wasn’t even available. The staff was nice, but $650 a night for this was way too high. I like the area, but will look for a better place next time we visit.
