We arrived on a wet and windy afternoon only to find no one there. After 20 minutes and a phone call our hostess arrived to open up and turn on the heating. Given the weather it was a pity that she had not done this in the morning as the house remained cold all evening. Note that the hostess speaks French, understands Spanish but not English. The stone cottage has two bedrooms but the living room, satisfactory for two, would have been cramped for four. The place was clean, bedroom comfortable and well equipped for cooking. However there was no ‘starter’ food available such as tea, coffee or milk. Breakfast was available a few steps away in the hostess’ house. Freshly prepared with good home made cakes and jam.

Casa com muito bom gosto, limpa e asseada. A Dra. Lurdes é uma simpatia. Gostei muito do pequeno-almoço - simples e requintado, com produtos essenciais da região e até caseiros. Nos 2 dias em que permanecemos houve a preocupação de variar um pouco, o que muito nos agradou.
