OK hotel but it doesn't deserve 5 stars, I was disappointed with my experience... Negative points : Small problem at the entrance: no baby bed in the room not in accordance with the reservation! Fridge noise in the bedroom which prevents you from sleeping Building work on the garden side…! Good points very kind and helpful staff Hearty breakfast Well secure and well located
Mövenpick Sousse

The hotel is connected to the beach and the sea. The environment is great. The food in the restaurant is delicious and delicious. The breakfast buffet is too crowded and the service is not very timely. The overall value for money is good. You need to book in advance. It's always full.
Occidental Sousse Marhaba

Massive hotel ground with palm trees and lawns in the back of the hotel. We stayed for a week on a AI holiday. Good - big gardens at the back, so nice to take a stroll and relax and they're kept clean and tidy. The beach is also at the back of the hotel, easy access but too many litters which they've could have cleaned up. Food has limited variety and has flavor. The location is good, so easy to get a taxi and take a walk to busy streets which has cafes. The restaurant staff are polite and cleaners are often around to clean the floors and the tables. Not so good - The food is not of high quality, often fish or meat that are grilled, is charred and lose their moisture. Had a heard burn by eating their turkey breast which were grilled, as though don't know if the meat is cooked or not, so they leave it more to be charred! They've young cooks as the meat station who seemed not confident how to cook the meats. The teenage beggars outside the hotel can spot you're a tourists and approach you for money and take no for an answer. Three times we're approached and they kept walking with you as you say no, difficult to shake them off. No entertainment for the adults. They've have kids disco most nights in the hotel lobby with very loud music blasting, that you can't even relax in the hotel lounge. The restaurant is in a basement and you can't go direct from your floor by lift, so have to use another lift or use the stairs to have access to the restaurant floor.

Residence Boujaafar

I stayed here as a female sole traveller for 2 weeks in July. After reaaing some of the bad reviews I was a bit unsure. Yes its daed as are most apartments in Tunisia but its spotlessly clean, Bedding and towels were changed daily great views scros to the besch and location straight across from the beach 10TD for parasol and sunbed for the day and all of the staff are nice and friendly. There is a cafe directly below for anything you need and the apartments are very spacious. Yes its loud at night as its on a main road with a lot of bars and night club. I used ear plugs and had no problems sleeping. I am a very fussy person when it comes to apartments and hotels and I would definatey recommend and stay again
Dar Antonia
4.5/550 Reviews
Dar Antonia is located in the Sousse Medina ; a wonderful Tunisian palace, converted into a boutique hotel. It only has a few rooms, hence not a lot of staff and it may be difficult to find someone at times. The place oozes charm, but comes with some practical disadvantages : lots of stairs to get anywhere, open bathroom, open toilet, noise from other rooms, etc It has a very upmarket (= expensive) restaurant, where a sensational fresh breakfast is served. A great rooftop space with a ”pool”, but it is the size of a spa ; a superb place to have a drink, but it proved to be hard to order any, as they have to come from the restaurant, two floors down (by stairs). Overall, Dar Antonia is your best choice if you like authentic charm and are prepared to put up with the impracticalities that are inherent to an old building.
