We were a couple looking for a centrally located hotel for a short break in Stade. After a long search and comparisons on the Internet, we chose the Hotel Widukind.
We were not disappointed and some of our expectations were even exceeded. The hotel is located in the center and everything worth seeing is within walking distance. There is also an underground car park at a moderate price. There is no long-term parking in the city center, with the exception of parking garages a little further away. Restaurants are numerous in the area and offer something for every taste and budget. The hotel breakfast is rich and of good quality.
The hotel rooms are clean, spacious and recently renovated.
Finally, it should be mentioned that bicycles can also be safely parked in the underground car park.
We would be happy to recommend the hotel and would choose it again.

Das Komfortzimmer war gut ausgestattet, leider aber mit Teppichboden. Die zentrale Lage ermöglicht es, die gesamte Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Im Hotel selbst ist die Parkmöglichkeit sehr eingeschränkt, aber in der Nähe befindet sich ein Parkhaus.
