The Endeavour Restaurant with Rooms

Staithes, out of season, is a wonderful old laid back seaside village with winding narrow streets. The Endeavour is centrally located. Free overnight winter period parking 5 minutes up the hill.Friendly, helpful host. Rooms fresh and clean and nicely furnished with a Captain Cooke theme. Ground coffee, fresh milk and biscuits in your room. Great breakfast (I had Staithes smoked kippers). Good food (cod and lonster) and drink at the harbour front pub (massive range of spirits) Great local cliff top walks and an interesting working harbour with a small beach. It probably will be too busy for my liking in the summer but I'll definitely be returning for another off-season break

A lovely B&B for relaxation and great breakfasts cooked by Cameron! Our room was full of character and you can see the harbour whilst using the lovely window seat and when sitting up in bed. It was tremendous to sit warm and cosy and watch the very big waves. The snug is as good as it sounds, a lovely place to relax with comfy armchairs, sofa and an honesty bar. Breakfasts are delicious in the very smart dining room. We spotted several people go by with their surfboards on their way to make the most of the sea conditions during our stay. Staithes is such an amazing place packed with houses on the steep slopes, and we met so many friendly people everywhere we went. It’s also a great place to head off for cliff walks either north or south. We particularly enjoyed the walk to Runswick Bay.

Perfection! A charming place to stay in a view cute village. Cameron is a fantastic host and cooks a superb breakfast! Lovely room and comfy bed. I couldn’t fault anything.

Lovely boutique B&B Comfy bed, tasteful decor, nice breakfast, central location. Glad we visited off season. I expect summer must be horrendous. Parking at the top of the hill in council run car park (avoid the expensive private one!)

Splendid B&B Wonderful stay at The Endeavour, which is in the perfect location to get the most out of magical Staithes and everything nearby. Cameron was friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are beautifully decorated and finished with characterful touches. Finally, breakfast was delicious!
