The whole family with the elderly and children stayed in Qichen, and the experience exceeded expectations! The courtyard is spacious and safe, the children can run freely, the room space is sufficient, the bed is comfortable to sleep, the hygiene is particularly in place, and the elderly are very satisfied. The housekeeper prepared fruit intimately, took the initiative to help carry large luggage, planned the easy parent-child play route in detail, and avoided the crowded crowd. The homestay is quiet and not noisy, the quality of rest is very good, not far from the ancient city attractions, and travel is labor-saving. The best experience in China! Perfect for family travelI traveled with my mother and my son, and this hotel made our trip to Pingyao truly unforgettable. It is the perfect place to live and feel what ancient China was like, but with all the modern comforts.The service is exceptional: they picked us up for free from the train station and, upon arrival, gave us a detailed breakdown of the tourist attractions using a map. As if that weren't enough, they gave us a free upgrade to a much more expensive room without charging us anything extra. It was an incredibly generous gesture.The hotel is extremely clean, the bedsheets are an absolute dream to rest on, and the air conditioning works wonderfully (which is vital when traveling with children and seniors). Additionally, they rented us an electric scooter at a super affordable price, which allowed us to explore the city with total comfort. It has a genuinely cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. We recommend it 100% for families!

The inn is a historical building. The two-in-one courtyard is just behind the Majia compound. We are busy taking pictures as soon as we arrive. We live in ”childish”. Although there is no separation of dry and wet, we love it. It is sunny. In the morning, we see the sun and wine. It is very energetic. The boss is a young guy, the people are very good, because the old-fashioned lock is necessary to go out, others can not enter the house, so they trouble the boss to send supplies in the cabin, go back to get it at night. The homestay originally only had one pick-up or delivery service, and then the boss also picked up and sent it. Also help with the management. Great. I wish you a prosperous business!

The location is excellent and easy to find within the ancient city. It's not far from the main street of the ancient city after entering through Xiaonanmen. The owner has three courtyards, each with many small rooms. The air conditioning cools down quickly, and the room is well-stocked with amenities.

The rooms are spacious, bright, clean and tidy, the host is warm and thoughtful, the facilities are complete, and the sheets and bedding are very clean. The farm food is delicious and not expensive and very delicious. The transportation is convenient. It is about 200 meters away from the entrance of Mianshan Scenic Area and the bus station (Mianshan-Jiexiu). Traveling is very convenient, it is very convenient to go to the surrounding Wangjia Courtyard, Zhang Bi Ancient Castle. (Self-driving bus taxi), the farmyard has a parking lot. The farmyard has four standard rooms, 9 sets of 3 rooms, and 1 suite for 5 rooms. The family who runs the accomodation are very nice and helpful. I asked them to help me to rent a e-bike for the day and immediately they where finding me a solution. They are very responsive and kind. TIP TO FIND THE PLACE: you should look well for the number 4 is placed directly at the front door Room was small but nice and cozy, for a solo traveler totally fine. You should know the mattress is not a western mattress, is harder. I really like it and I rested beautifully but if you are really into soft stuff you will need to adapt. Location is nice, 10-15 min walk to the exit gate. Just for you to know, if you travel to the city in August is going to be very very very busy, and many people inside the inner walls. That means to exit the walls from the hotel is going to be a hard slalom in between people for many minutes. I guess the rest of the year is way calmer. I recommend the place

My experience staying at this hotel as below. 1. They provide pickup and drop off from the train station. The day before the Inn contacted me to make arrangement for the pickup. Then they arranged to drive me back to station on the day I leave. Service was efficient and prompt. Much appreciated. 2. I was able to use the washing machine to wash come clothes which was much needed. Comb and toiletries were provided. So grateful for these little necessities as I left mine at the previous hotel. 3. The boss upgraded me to a bigger and better room because it was the low season. The kang bed was so comfortable and firm. I had the best sleep so far at this Inn. I'm so happy. 4. The Inn is inside the old city and practically next to one of the city gates. Very convenient for sightseeing old Pingyao city. 5. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Boss also gave me a bottle of vinegar. Wish I could take it back to UK with me. 6. The price of this Inn is also very reasonable and affordable. 7. Pingyao is a beautiful, ancient old city. Worth coming. I highly recommend staying here. Very good experience. The owners are friendly and provide pick up at the gate entrance. Pretty courtyard and the owners shared a lot of information on where to eat / shop at. Would definitely recommend this guesthouse to those wanting to visit Pingyao.

We had such a lovely experience at Zhengjia Inn! It was a little hard to find initially but the location is exceptional, right in the heart of the ancient city of Pingyao. There was no one on reception when we arrived but we managed to call through the Trip.com app and they came out right away to help us check in. The hotel is gorgeous with a very traditional style, a lovely sunny courtyard and big rooms. The best part of our stay here was the hospitality of the family who run this hotel. They were so kind and generous! They annotated a map for us to show us where to go and how to get there, they made us a Western style breakfast in the morning and let us eat in their own home, and they very kindly drove us to the train station when we had to leave the next day. They were very friendly, kind and patient with us as we don't speak Mandarin. The bed was quite hard because it is a very thin mattress on top of wood so it might not suit people with bad backs, but it was fine for us! We would highly recommend this hotel!

I was very fortunate to choose Glory Homestay for my trip to Pingyao. Although it's outside the ancient city, it's incredibly convenient for getting around, just a 5-6 minute walk to the entrance, avoiding the hassle of traffic control within the ancient city. The room was clean and cozy, the bedding was so soft I fell asleep the moment my head hit the pillow. The owner is a 20-year veteran who was incredibly welcoming. He not only helped plan the route but also recommended many local favorites. The prices were very reasonable, only a few dozen yuan – truly excellent value for money. I highly recommend everyone stay here!
