Ssamuel eelLocation was ok. Front desk service is okish.... security is pretty much on point as well.
But the technical team is slow..... i ask for a remote battery replacement and it took me about 40minutes + 3reminders to get it done.
End up i had to open my room door and stopped a staff passing by to get help.
Was a horrible experience with services....
Room wise its clean and manageable.... facilities is okish.... Breakfast more room for impovement too with variety...

GGuest UserThis is a historically important location in Matheran. Ratheesh and his business partner were so welcoming and helpful and the accommodation is so full of character. For a truly “green” and unique stay in a totally unique location, the Verandah in the Forest is absolutely a must. This is undoubtedly the place to stay in Matheran if you can get a room - would suggest booking early so as not to miss the chance to stay here - and is so much more than a hotel.
Food was superb and because of the size and layout, never seemed busy. Quiet and relaxing stay.
As there’s no phone signal in Matheran Hill Station I’d suggest contacting Ratheesh before making the ascent to the hill station for location instructions. There is wi-fi at the Verandah in the Forest.

GGuest UserI ***** with my family had an incredible stay at sandhya resort. The moment we arrived we were treated very nicely by the owner himself. The cottages were stunning and facilities were well maintained. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. Rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and equipped with all necessary amenities. The ambiance of the property is serene, exuding a sense of tranquility and relaxation. The lush greenery and vibrant flora surrounding the property infuse the air with fresh and calming scent while chirping birds create soothing background melody. The culinary experience was truly exceptional. The presentation was visually stunning making each item a feast for eyes as well as palate. The resort’s commitment to using locally sourced ingredients and traditional cooking methods ensured that every bite was not only delicious but also authentic and sustainable. From delicious dining options to relaxing environment, every aspect of our stay was a pure bliss. Can’t wait to return and experience it all again. I would recommend it to friends and family.

The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the room. The highlights was the impeccable service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile.Food options are limited but taste is awesome and staff suggest you with good recommendation. Overall, I highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway with topmost hygiene standards. The owner is really humble and personally take care of all the needs and see that everything is maintained.It exceeded all my expectations and I can't wait to return.

GGuest UserMy stay at spring nature stay was fantastic with a lot of fun activities to do. The pool was perfect for a refreshing swim, and the sea view trek offered stunning views and a great workout. Bird watching in the morning was a delightful experience with so many beautiful species around. There were plenty of games and activities to keep us entertained. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it's a wonderful place for an active and enjoyable getaway!

Rooms are very big almost 300+ sqft area with balcony..

YYanniVery comfortable room, in a quiet and relaxing spot of Matheran. Delicious food and above all very friendly and serviceable staff! Our stay was lovely, we even extended it for two more nights without any issue. The hotel staff was always ready to help us with any inquiry. The room was large and with all necessary things.

The wi-fi signal was a bit weak, and the breakfast options were somewhat limited. Additionally, there was some noise from neighboring rooms, which affected the overall tranquility of my stay. In summary, hotel mari aai provided a decent stay, but there is room for enhancement in terms of amenities, interior design and noise isolation.
