Ssamuel eelLocation was ok. Front desk service is okish.... security is pretty much on point as well.
But the technical team is slow..... i ask for a remote battery replacement and it took me about 40minutes + 3reminders to get it done.
End up i had to open my room door and stopped a staff passing by to get help.
Was a horrible experience with services....
Room wise its clean and manageable.... facilities is okish.... Breakfast more room for impovement too with variety...

YYanniVery comfortable room, in a quiet and relaxing spot of Matheran. Delicious food and above all very friendly and serviceable staff! Our stay was lovely, we even extended it for two more nights without any issue. The hotel staff was always ready to help us with any inquiry. The room was large and with all necessary things.

The cottages were stunning and facilities were well maintained. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. Rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and equipped with all necessary amenities. The ambiance of the property is serene, exuding a sense of tranquility and relaxation. The lush greenery and vibrant flora surrounding the property infuse the air with fresh and calming scent while chirping birds create soothing background melody. The culinary experience was truly exceptional. The presentation was visually stunning making each item a feast for eyes as well as palate. The resort’s commitment to using locally sourced ingredients and traditional cooking methods ensured that every bite was not only delicious but also authentic and sustainable. From delicious dining options to relaxing environment, every aspect of our stay was a pure bliss. Can’t wait to return and experience it all again. I would recommend it to friends and family.

GGuest UserThe stay was comfortable. The staff is accommodative and welcoming. Location is a little far from railway station. 1.3km to be exact. So if you have more luggage then take hand rikshaw. Resort is beautiful. Greenery everywhere. Some rooms are too small. So go for delux rooms and not cottages. Food is ok. This being resort, 9% GST id applied on restaurant bill. So be mindful.

Big property, friendly staff, ready to help nature, so many facilities...
Kids play area, very hygienic and tasty breakfast with so many options to select with juice, tea, coffee....
Rooms are very big almost 300+ sqft area with balcony..
location is hardly 7-8 min walk from Matheran railway station

The room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities met my basic needs. However, there were a few areas where improvement is needed. The room interior is not so good. The wi-fi signal was a bit weak, and the breakfast options were somewhat limited. Additionally, there was some noise from neighboring rooms, which affected the overall tranquility of my stay. In summary, hotel mari aai provided a decent stay, but there is room for enhancement in terms of amenities, interior design and noise isolation. I would consider staying here again, depending on my needs for future trips”
