"I had an absolutely horrible experience at Novotel Khopoli Imagica, and I would strongly advise families—especially those traveling with children—to stay far away. The biggest issue was the shocking lack of hygiene. Within a short span of time in our room, we spotted around 9–10 cockroaches crawling across the floor and walls. This wasn’t just an isolated incident—it clearly indicated a serious infestation problem. It was deeply unsettling and frankly unacceptable for a hotel that markets itself as a family-friendly property. We were traveling with a toddler, which made the situation even more alarming. The presence of so many cockroaches created a genuine health risk, and we were constantly worried about our child’s safety. No parent should have to deal with this kind of stress while on what is supposed to be a relaxing trip. What made matters worse was the overall sense that cleanliness and proper pest control are not being taken seriously at this hotel. For a property associated with a major brand like Novotel, this level of neglect is inexcusable. This experience completely ruined our stay. Until they address these severe hygiene and pest control issues, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone."
Radisson Blu Plaza Resort and Spa Karjat
"We recently stayed at Radisson Blu Karjat. The property is expansive, beautifully located on the Ulhas River, and features great amenities like a pool, indoor games, and a fun park. The weekend High Tea is a nice touch, and while the sunsets are gorgeous, they really need sunset viewing decks. The hospitality is top-notch. Special thanks to Dhiraj and Saraswati at reception, and Nazma and her team at Panorama restaurant for their professional and welcoming service. However, the lack of room maintenance is unacceptable. Our first room had a weak bathroom exhaust that couldn’t clear a terrible drainage smell. To make matters worse, the door lock battery died, locking us out. Frustrated, we had to change rooms at 11:00 PM. Unfortunately, the second room was no better. The AC fan malfunctioned, forcing maintenance to clean the filters in the middle of the night. Furthermore, the toilet flush was so weak we had to flush 4–5 times for typical use. Additionally, the restaurant menu could use more Indian vegetarian options. Moreover, the complete lack of basic amenities for our driver was also disappointing. The resort does not provide functional driver accommodation, meaning our driver was forced to sleep in his car on the road outside and use the river for his daily chores. This is unacceptable for a luxury brand. While the front-line staff and property charm are excellent, management desperately needs to address these severe maintenance and facility issues."

"The place is way too expensive for what it has to offer. The manager of the hotel is super rude. The mattress is very uncomfortable. They have a time bound for everything, why is that so? people are visiting for fun and will do whatever they want and whenever they want. Why is the staycation treated as a hostel? the worst part is that they do not allow room service? whyyyy which stay has this rule? the food menu is extremely limited. In the name of breakfast you have 1 fruit, 1 tropicana canned juice, poha or idli or upma. The property is so isolated that if you want to travel to any nearby location, you cannot because it will charge you a lot. After reading the reviews i had such high hopes from this place it was pathetic. Absolutely not worth it! it's a waste of time and money. There was literally no one for the stay apart from us the day we arrived. 1 family arrived the next day."

"Reaching zostel kolad is fairly easy its a 3 hour journey from either mumbai or pune (drive from pune is really scenic. Zostel is located on the banks of kundalika river. We need to cross the river to reach zostel and zostel provides a ferry service for this, which also a unique experience. It is a beautiful property with clean rooms, outdoor sports (badminton, volleyball & cricket, indoor activities (table tennis, carrom and etc) and amazing restaurant. Zostel kolad particularly lights up after 7pm. There are multiple activities organized by zostel every night involving dance, music, drinks and lot of food. Truly, it was an amazing experience making me want to extend my stay (unfortunately they were fully booked. Ps: book your stay a month early. They sell out very quickly particularly on weekends."

"This place Bougainvillea Hotel located in the road to Nagaon beach is at about 10 mins walk from the beach. It is really a beautiful small hotel. The rooms are spacious, with an ingenious pull out bed that allows four adults to sleep comfortably. The upper floor rooms have a great balcony with a swing. Though the view is not great it makes a peaceful place for an evening get together or morning tea or just relax. The pool is good though not too large. Food is a little expensive but tasty. Buffet breakfast is simple, not a huge spread but adequate. The best is the staff.. so cooperative, and well behaved. The first time we stayed here, we had paid for 2 days, but had to cut short by one day. They were kind enough to give us credit for the one unused day to be used at a time convenient for us.. the human touch which makes all the difference. This is the goto place at Alibag .. great quality and reasonable tariff."

I had to get a cockroach spray and a room freshener myself to clear the mess and stay there for two days.. there are limited places to stay near the MGM medical college, hence I and one more of our college from bhopal also had booked this place.. same experience for them.. I request to delete this place "
