Food - Excellent Local Cuisine, the staff is local and it was one of the best authentic (in fact wouldn't be a stretch if I called it best Kolambi Bhath and Kombdi Vade - I have had, I don't know what the magic was the Kolambi Bhath was amazing consistency - neither too wet and sticky like khichdi or dry like Biriyani - IT WAS JUST PERFECT !!!!! - The prawns were cooked to perfection - most people make it rubbery - it was just right, soft juicy without any of the fishy after taste) - in addition to this a great Buffet Spread, Great chefs cooking up delicious dishes, Great VALUE for money 2. The people - The staff and our experience has been so great , thanks to the following people (if I have missed anyone pls excuse) and a few photos The best part was the Excellent food (local cuisine like Kolambi Bhath and Kombdi Vade), and sense of hospitality of the dining room staff and all the chefs, overall the the staff was excellent in all departments (check-in, pool, room-cleaning) but the stand-out was the dining room staff - they were working almost entire day - 3 meals and did everything with outmost care, attention and warmth - and their sense if going beyond duty was great, Standout team members were Janhavi (dining room) and Abhijit (from Captain Cook's bar) - both are stand-out topper & Budding Chef Sai (of Kombdi Vade fame :) ) Apart from this all the team members were hard working and I interacted with a lot of team members who were very helpful and always ready with warm service - special mention - Vignesh, Ramila, Ajay & Kalpesh - Vignesh was terrific ......All the chefs were spectacular - I talked to all of them and got their views - Chef Subhash, Chef Rahul, Chef Surendra, Chef Sai (winning our hearts with spectacular Kombi Vade), Chef Rohit, Chef Jagadeesh (armed with the terrific Bread Pakodas) All these guys are tirelessly working with such attention to detail and caring and warmth. I really am very grateful to these guys for ensuring that we are taken care of. A big thanks to all of you for making our visits special. A word to my fellow Travelers, please be kind and patient, pls remember - the staff is on their feet for 12-14 hour shifts, running around to make our stay comfortable, it takes a lot. A small appreciation and smile goes a long way. 3. Rooms - Room Cleaning - There was one lady - I did not get her name (Very very impressed with her sense of dedication and attention to detail) 4. Location - Roads are not so great, but Great Resort Maintenance and upkeep - although its little old now and rooms were smelling musty, one of the rooms had a damp smell and I suspect the AC vent water was not draining - we once had the same issue in home ac and this was exact smell - BUT staff is still very active and resort maintenance is good 5. Safety - well managed and all aspects of safety taken care of esp. people travelling with kids 6. Predictability - flawless execution by staff from Start to finish, Club Mahindra Qualit"

"Simplicity at its best. It's a Simple Family resort with best service provided by entire team. Right from Check-in to Check-out-- room service & food service at its best. Thanx to F & B team --Mr Pranab with Bablu sir, & FB- Production team, Mr Dinesh who had served us amazing food with excellent hospitality. They had taken special care for Jain food. Location wise its near to zenith waterfall. We stayed in Cottage rooms which were decent enough. They have big lawn where family can play games. Swimming Pool is very small but best for family. The Only point we felt they were lagging is --restaurant is at first floor, deluxe and suite room also at 2nd floor & they don't have lift. So for senior citizen its very difficult but for us they gave room service to our parents."

The property is well maintained, clean, supportive management (not junior staff. Negative is price, distance from beach, nothing much to offer apart from a stay. Paying premium price is fine when it gives equal value but it’s nothing more than just a normal clean stay. Kindly focus on better pricing. Also family room has a very small beds for two & blanket is also single. Very uncomfortable has to argue thrice to get additional blankets which was a surprise considering the amount they charge."

The food was delicious, offering both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. It had a comforting, home-like taste that we really appreciated. Although the location is a bit interior, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. We enjoyed a peaceful walk through the nearby village and ***** a canal, which added to the overall tranquility of the place. The resort is well-suited for both couples and families. It has a small play area for kids and a clean swimming pool, making it enjoyable for all age groups. Overall, it was a peaceful, relaxing, and memorable getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in a calm and natural setting."

"Very horrible experience. We had a confirmed booking in marigold but once we reached the resort. The lady in the reception kept on telling us lies of the room being set up/ guest for delayed check out etc. after having our lunch she comes and tells us the room is not available since it is now being occupied by a blogger and he is not leaving. Something so bizarre I have never heard ever in my life. Then she has the audacity to tell us we are sorry and want to upgrade you to a room which apparently was lower catagory and was trying to tell is because of this issue they will give us free lunch and dinner. Basically they were adjusting the total cost of our booked room against a lower category of room and food. Such sly behaviour and non transparency left us with a very bad experience and we decided to drive back. Advice: booking is not guaranteed even if you pre book."

"I had visited this place a few days back(on 14th & 15th Feb,26), & the experience which I had here was very soothing, actually we had went with our full family of 20 persons & booked 3 cottages, our stay here was of 2 days 1 night, the experience from start was very memorable, as all the amenities expected was provided here(wheelchair access), the bird aviary had very unique birds(ostriches were also there) & food in "Sanaa" restaurant was delicious, swimming pool rides for kids were also good, overall I will rate this experience 10.5/10"
