Staying at Toyoko Inn Nara felt like embarking on a thousand-year journey into Tang Dynasty culture. The hotel's location is truly a prime hub: it's not only close to iconic ancient temples like Todai-ji and Kofuku-ji, but also incredibly convenient for visiting Toshodai-ji Temple and Yakushi-ji Temple. Just a short bus ride from the hotel takes you directly to these Buddhist sanctuaries, which bear the indelible marks of Sino-Japanese cultural exchange.
Setting out from the hotel, the majestic grandeur of Toshodai-ji Temple is truly awe-inspiring. Designed by Master Jianzhen himself after his eastward journey, its architecture perfectly blends the imposing scale of Tang Dynasty buildings with Japanese aesthetics. Amidst its vermilion pillars and graceful bracket complexes, one can still faintly discern the enduring legacy of the prosperous Tang Dynasty. GGuest UserThis was one of my favorit stays in Japan , this place had gread value for money. Location was great close to shopping street pond and park. There was space to eat food and they provides all usual free stuff. Access through codes ,loved not having to carry any cards keys etc.

MM333179****My trip to Japan was so enjoyable largely because of this hotel! I was initially worried about the two Superhotels, but this one was fantastic! It's right across from the JR station, and the staff at the front desk all speak Chinese, and I heard they also speak Korean, Japanese, and English—amazing! Communication was completely seamless. During check-in, they explained everything in detail, including pillows, pajamas, combs, shampoo, and more! The breakfast was delicious and very Japanese, and I noticed many Japanese people choose to stay here, which was really great. Nara Park is also within walking distance. Overall, I had a wonderful time. I've already recommended it to everyone I know, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Kansai—it's even cheaper than others! The rooms are small, but that seems to be a common problem with Japanese hotels.

The room is typical of a Japanese business hotel – perfectly fine for a stay. The surrounding area is incredibly convenient for dining, drinking, and shopping. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.

滿滿意的I like Japanese feeling, Japanese cuisine, hotel staff have a courteous and comfortable experience, the price is 1 berth and two meals! Satisfied 👍🏻 It is convenient to go straight from the Kintetsu Station. I am super satisfied with my first stay in Nara! Good hotel that will be ordered again

GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located near the station in a quiet area. You can walk to Nara Park and the nearest sights. The room had a teapot, tea, plastic glasses (which is uncomfortable), a fan, a lingerie dryer, bathrooms, lots of towels. But on the layer floor where the bed is very dusty. All the windows and curtains are in dust. Appended a photo.

GGuest UserWe really loved the hotel. The service was excellent, and the room cleaning was perfect. If you’re interested, our room was very spacious with a gorgeous bathroom, fully stocked with all the toiletries and even pajamas. There was also a massage chair and every possible comfort — simply amazing. It’s about a 20-minute walk from the metro; maybe there are some bus routes, but we used the metro. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Thank you so much!

GGuest UserThe location is right in the shopping street and also at the Kintetsu exit, it is only 15 minutes to go to the park. The staff is warm and courteous, the hot springs are fine but quiet enough. The hotel is old but tidy, there is no daily necessities except old towels, including a blow dryer in the hot spring area, and there is nothing towels lock. Of course, this price can't be too much, remember this is a hotel. I was impressed by the invincible location and courteous staff, I can't say whether I like it or not.

GGuest UserFirst of all, the service staff is warm and thoughtful, and the attitude is amiable! Tell the precautions, the hotel is clean and hygienic, and the quilt is covered by yourself. The bathroom in the bath is particularly clean. Every guest is very conscious. Try to control yourself and not disturb others. It is really great!
