I visited with my family on weekdays during the summer vacation. It was close to the beach of Maiko Omi and the supermarket was relatively close, so I didn't have any problems. ２ F Terrace barbecue facilities were also colored 々, and it was okay to use the tools I brought. But then they started the morning with a team of workers going through the temple grounds with deafening leaf blowing machines! Why do they disturb the peace like this? The temple claims to be environmentally conscious, but these machines are noisy, irritating, wasteful and bad for the environment. It made me leave the place in a bed mood.

Booked this stay to explore the areas around Lake Biwa. Reception was warm and friendly with an English-speaking host who provided us with the information for the stay. We booked the western style room as we preferred an attached bathroom, however the room condition was outdated and needs refurbishment, like peeling surfaces. The Japanese style room looked better when we caught a glimpse during check-out time. Nevertheless, location and amenities were great. Location is near major eateries and commercial centres by a short drive.

Noisy at night, the sound of crow and tram is louder and not very soundproof The health is great, the house is also very new, very close to the lake The nearest supermarket nearby has to drive for 20 minutes, the convenience store is about 10 minutes drive, and the electric oven is not easy to wash. If you want to barbecue, it feels not very convenient.

I was able to spend a relaxing time in a quiet environment. Also, the open-air bath in the sake barrel was the best. I had good memories of staying with a dog.
