3-Star Hotels in Toyama City

It's conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from Toyama Station, near Toyama Castle ruins and the Glass Museum. The tram station is also nearby, making getting around easy. Apparently, you can choose your pillow, but when I looked, there was only one. There were two pillows on one bed in the room, which was sufficient. The welcome drink bar only had drinks; there were no snacks. Breakfast was delicious. I especially liked the kinpira (braised burdock root and carrot).

Arrived in Toyama with great excitement, ready to start my trip. The room design was a bizarre, face-to-face door structure. I was originally assigned room 611, but for some reason, it was changed to 601, which has that face-to-face door layout. The front desk's explanation was astounding: 'Because it's cheaper.' I was speechless. Isn't the price set by *them*? How does that relate to the room's structure? Did they design rooms this way just for a certain price point? To avoid any further brain-damage, I decided not to speak to them for the rest of my stay.

Convenient location near station, food and cafes. Newly renovated, good breakfast with cheerful staffs. Tops !

Great hotel, though the room felt a bit dated, it was comfortable. The TV turned on by itself at 5 AM 😣… The staff were really pleasant and welcoming. Free parking available right in front of the hotel.

The hotel is next to Toyama Station. It is said to be in Showa style. The decoration is old and you need a key to open the door. The walls of the room are not very clean, but the price is relatively cheap. The quilt does not have a quilt cover, which feels unhygienic.

The price is favorable, there is breakfast, and the attitude of the front desk is not bad. It is old, it is cleaned, but it is also a lot of unavoidable problems. Because of the price concessions, you can't be too picky.
