4-Star Hotels in Shiyan

I was very satisfied with this hotel. It's incredibly close to the visitor center; you can literally step out the back door and be there. There are plenty of restaurants, bubble tea shops, and even a McDonald's nearby, so food and drinks are super convenient. The parking lot is huge and free. The front desk staff were all very warm and patient. The hotel itself is clean and elegant. Definitely a place worth recommending.

Although the hotel is located on a mountain, it feels like a five-star! The location is super convenient, right next to Qiongtai Station and just a few minutes' walk from Qiongtai Zhongguan. I highly recommend it for anyone planning to go up to Golden Summit early in the morning! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The complimentary coffee (made with SOE beans) was also delicious and aromatic. Plus, the hotel has five adorable and friendly cats! I can't wait to stay here again on my next trip to Wudang Mountain!

The hotel was excellent, very clean and hygienic. The room was spacious and airy with great ventilation, making for a very comfortable stay. The staff were all very welcoming, and the front desk young lady was especially friendly. The breakfast beef noodles were outstanding! The restaurant also had a unique charm with fresh dishes and very reasonable prices. I'll definitely be back.

We had an excellent stay here. The room was great, the food was tasty, and the location/views superb. But more than any of that, the next-level service provided by the staff was perhaps the best I have ever received. We had a lot of difficulty navigating the Wudangshan bus system, hiking timing, etc, and the staff were always willing to discuss and solve problems for us over WeChat. Without them our trip would not have been possible. Highly recommend.

Let me start with the good things: the hotel has a nice environment with small bridges and flowing water, the service staff are very polite, the main dishes in the restaurant taste very good, the hygiene in the room is good, and the mineral water and other things are replenished in a timely manner when needed. Other regrets: it is right next to the main road, the noise from the transport trucks is quite loud, the breakfast is a bit monotonous, there might be a monastic training class in the hotel, as I was woken up by their music at 6:20 in the morning.

This was my first time visiting Wudang Mountain, and I was lucky to choose a hotel in the Nanyan area. It was super convenient for climbing Golden Summit, and visiting Nanyan Palace and Zixiao Palace! Taihe Ziyin is the best hotel in the Nanyan area. I opted for a 'Cloud View' room, and on the first day, it was shrouded in mist, while on the third day, I got to witness the sunrise right from my room! The service was good, especially the hotel's private chef. After climbing Golden Summit, I didn't want to go anywhere else, so I ordered tomato and egg noodles at the hotel. Simple, yet delicious! The staff were all very nice! The only downside was that the air conditioning in the room was a bit old. It was quite cold when I first arrived on the mountain, and even with the AC on all night, it wasn't particularly warm, and it was noisy. On the second day, I asked for a space heater, one of those fan heaters. While it kept my legs and feet warm, it was also noisy. At night, I still had to resort to using the AC. Luckily it wasn't winter, otherwise, it might have been unbearable. If they could provide better space heaters, it would be pretty perfect.

Pros: Excellent location, hotel itself is well decorated. Very clean. The room is comfortable. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and nice to have some western style choices. Cons: On our last day morning,the big, heavy window shutter fell off the frame while I was nearby and my forehead got hurt slightly. The hotel manager offered to change rooms for us, but because it was our last day there we decided to stay in the same room. No more compensation was offered to us. There should be a mini fridge and microwave oven in the room, due to no lunch and dinner availability, except for private parties.

Our stay at Wudangshan Hotel was the highlight of our trip to Wudang Mountain and Danjiangkou. The location is perfect – centrally located yet quiet, about a 10-minute walk to both the pedestrian street and the Wudang Museum. We had a minor issue upon check-in, but the front desk staff resolved it quickly and efficiently with a great attitude. Breakfast was a bit earlier than expected; apparently, it's usually until 9 AM, with an extra half hour on holidays. Even though we arrived a little late, around 9:10 AM, the restaurant staff were very polite and friendly, and they even made sure to ask if we needed anything else before clearing up. While the facilities are a bit dated, the excellent service and prime location more than make up for it. I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit to Wudang and will recommend it to family and friends.

The high-altitude view is excellent, the night view of the city outside the floor-to-ceiling windows is panoramic, and the lights are full. The room is clean and comfortable, the service is intimate, leaning on the window to watch the sunset into the night in the evening, the stay experience is super healing, I will choose this one next time!

The room is simple and cozy, clean and comfortable, with soft bedding that makes you feel relaxed. It's very quiet at night. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and the local food is delicious. The hotel front desk helped us plan a very practical travel itinerary, saving us from taking too many unnecessary detours. They even thoughtfully reminded us to bring motion sickness patches and medicine, as the winding roads up Shiwangwan Mountain are particularly challenging for those prone to motion sickness.
