GGuest UserTucked away down an alley but perfectly fine inside
Great service
Free breakfast included from 7am onwards, though limited seating. Has pastries/bread and english bfast type warm food
Rooms decently sized
Location is pretty good, can get to tourist attractions within 10 mins
Kind of expensive though
HHUALocated behind the Valletta government and commercial street, it is a 300-year-old hotel that is not only clean and tidy, but also luxurious and elegant. If the system address is incorrectly located, we will navigate to the 12th. Actually, we will go down another 150 meters to reach the 76th, which is next to the church. Need the agent to send us a 4-digit reservation code, which is the door code, this must be confirmed with Ctrip in advance. The back of the hotel is a bustling pedestrian street. Going right and turning is a few passages that lead to the sea. A 50-meter left turn is a big supermarket.
YYuwenTotally beyond my expectation!! From the smiley face welcoming us when we first walked in to the home made turndown macarons to the breakfast (the chef even peeled the tomato skin!); everything impressed me. We stayed two nights in the Casa and it is my first time staying in the Valetta. The hotel focuses on service details!!
Superb location - 10 to 15 mins walk to the bus terminal/ upper and lower Barrakka garden/ the ferry pier with easy access to bars, restaurants, and shops. The building itself is historical and we love the design of the room. The big in-room safe provides extra secure.
But what I love the most is the team. Everyone at the reception and during breakfast service has been super amazing. Special thanks to Peter who performed the room orientation upon check-in, Matthew who assisted me with luggage and escorted me to the uber pick up point upon departure, the pretty lady Sladjana with a big smile and endless jokes that made my day, and Renniel who helped fix the issue of the basin stopper.
Highly recommend Casa Ellul to everyone. Dont miss the wonderful breakfast in the morning!

”I had been in this hotel a few days, the overall experience was very good.
All the staff was very friendly, ensured that we got a nice room, the room is big than average hotels and all new. The breakfast is tasty and prepared in the moment.
Most probably if I return to Malta will check this hotel again, because was a nice experience”
GGuest UserWe are satisfied with this hotel, it locates in historical area, few min walk to st John cathedral and view point, staffs were lovely and helpful, gave good suggestion about how to go to different points, breakfast nice, with bathtub, room very clean tidy
戴戴The location is very convenient, very close to St. John's Church and a few minutes from the core area. Modern hotel, small and exquisite. The service is very good, warm and attentive. The single room actually has a courtyard, you can drink and stay in a daze, the hotel is on the slopes, like the square steps of the movie Roman holiday, there is no style, just take a little step with your luggage, of course you can ask the hotel for help. Take a few minutes walk to see the sunset. Maltese are friendly and simple,
GGuest UserThe hotel owner is an artist. There are paintings done by him in every floor of the hotel. The hotel located at restricted pedestrian area. Location is second to none. Uber/bolt can come to door before 9:30am. Other time you will need to walk a few blocks to get one.
