5-Star Hotels in Longmen

Going to Nankun Mountain in Huizhou during the Chinese New Year holiday was definitely the right choice. It wasn't too crowded, and almost all the restaurants nearby were open and ready for business! The facilities along the entire 218 loop were really impressive. We chose the Weichi brand this time, purely because we were drawn in by what we saw! The room environment was great, and the decor was lovely too! The staff were incredibly responsive to every request, and they even allowed fireworks, making our three-day, two-night stay so comfortable. A big thank you to all the staff at Shanshan Sishi, to everyone at the front desk, and especially to the bartender, the young lady from Hunan, whose drinks were exceptionally good! The five-star hot springs, located within a national 4A-rated scenic area, truly live up to their reputation. There are 172 hot spring pools built into the mountainside, and the silicic acid fluoride ”beauty soup” leaves your skin wonderfully smooth. The hotel is conveniently located just 1-1.5 hours' drive from major Pearl River Delta cities like Guangzhou and Shenzhen, making it super accessible for a weekend getaway.

If you're going for hot springs, you really need to find a place nestled in the mountains like this. The resort is built into the hillside, offering a great environment and excellent water quality. These are genuine hot springs – you can soak for ages, and your hands won't even wrinkle. Dining is convenient too, with both Chinese and Western restaurants available within the hotel (Building 3 is close to the back exit if you want to explore the street, while Building 2 is nearer the hot springs). The hotel breakfast has a wide variety. I'll definitely be back. The hotel rooms are also very good and clean; I forgot to take pictures, but I'll do so next time.
