dont know how this hotel is starred 5 star. the room was spacious but aircon very weak, almost sweating all night. INTERNET (wifi) was not working most of the time, it would work for a minute and then not work for more than 1 hour. Breakfast was average, toaster barely working, bread re-supply was very poor.

The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, a carb lover's paradise – see pictures for some of the varieties! The room was spacious, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was excellent, as you can see in the photos! The staff service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, beyond words! This hotel has definitely been added to my 'stay again' list.

This time, my friends and I chose to stay at the Oriental Wenlan Hotel during our trip to Jiangshan. The room was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was meticulous and thorough. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The staff were warm, polite, and responsive. The front desk staff were particularly gentle and thoughtful, even proactively recommending tour routes for Mount Jianglang and local specialty snacks, which was a great help and made our trip hassle-free.

I rarely write long reviews, but this experience truly deserves my heartfelt sharing. It wasn't just the hotel's top-notch facilities, but also the thoughtful details that deeply touched me. Upon check-in, the receptionist noticed I had a cough and not only offered her kind words, but also found a warm pot of honey water and a handwritten greeting card on the table when I returned to my room that evening. This small gesture made me feel as warm as if I were at home. The room had a fantastic view, a wide selection of drinks, and a pillow menu with various options—a godsend for someone like me who is a light sleeper.

There was a male staff member in casual clothes who should be responsible for the management of the swimming pool at night. I went to Quzhou for a self-driving tour during the Chinese New Year. I wanted to go to a place with fewer people, so I chose the best hotel in Jiangshan. The hotel is in the city center and the surrounding area is quite lively. The environment and facilities are quite satisfactory, just an ordinary five-star hotel. But the service is very average. At eight o'clock in the morning, the waiter came to clean up immediately after the neighbor checked out. The noise was very loud and woke me up immediately. The room I booked included a ticket to the ancient town. When I arrived at the door, I found that the hotel had made a mistake in the date. I had to go back again, but there was no apology. The price for the Chinese New Year is about 900 yuan, and the service really needs to be improved.
