I have known Sweet Karina since 2013/2014, before her name was Karina. Previously, the hotel was managed very well by Mrs. Linda (whom we met) and the hotel was very homey, very clean, Mrs. Linda's service was super good. There used to be a paid breakfast available. Since then every time we go to Bandung we know where to stay. I came back about 4 times before the pandemic and the hotel has changed its name to Sweet Karina, with more rooms, but still comfortable and "nosy". Long after the pandemic, we didn't go to Bandung until July 2023, we had time to go to Bandung and of course we immediately booked Sweet Karina without having to hesitate. But ... after the Pandemic it turned out that the Hotel was managed by someone else. Employees are still friendly and quite helpful when asked for help, but don't offer more help. The condition of the room and bathroom was quite dirty with trash in the tissue on the floor in front of the room and it was only taken when I asked. The towels, bed sheets were colored from white to gray and it looked like the towels and sheets and bed covers were old, and looked dirty. The curtains in room 105, the first room provided to me were dirty with lots of stains, very different from what we expected. Trash bins and mats are not available in the room shown to me. Luckily the employees wanted to understand and when I asked to move rooms, they found an available room. Finally we moved to Room 111 (if I'm not mistaken) on the same floor, still lacking in cleanliness, but at least we survived with a trash can and mat provided after we asked.
Hopefully Sweet Karina will return to being a homey inn as usual which always makes us miss.
