Ok. The room actually looks a little different than in the photos—more rundown and a bit old. There’s no problem with the AC or the hot water, and the bed is comfortable. However, there’s no noise isolation whatsoever. I had a room on the ground floor, and I could hear everything happening at the reception.
At 5 a.m., someone just outside was vigorously sweeping the sidewalk or the parking lot. At 6 a.m., a girl started crying and making a fuss to her parents about something. Then the people at the reception started talking loudly (though they are very kind and friendly, I have to say). In short, it’s very hard to get good sleep.
Oh, and there’s a window right above the door overlooking the corridor. Privacy can be easily breached; anyone could hold up a phone above the door and record what’s happening in the room.
