Exzellenter Service u. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis Exzellentes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, super nettes und flexibles Personal und Service, tolles Schwimmbad und Wellness prima Frühstück. Tolles angenehmes Skigebiet.

Positive: - nice rooms/furniture - friendly staff - location Negative - whirlpool is much too cold at 27 degrees, especially after a day in the ski resort... we left the water after a minute - spa opening times (only open until 7 p.m.) - food in the restaurant is overpriced

We were very disappointed with this hotel. Already at the reception on the evening of arrival... we drove 4 hours and thought we could have a meal before going to bed... the very young lady at the reception told us that it was not not possible the restaurant was full. We asked where to eat so she told us in the village further away (so go back down the snowy road by car...) and could not give us an address. We were told to book for the following evenings, which was not possible because on Mondays the hotel restaurant is closed... The room was very small (No. 11) with just enough room to fit in (a wardrobe broom would not have been smaller). Then it's not possible to reach the ski resort without taking the bus (which doesn't run very often) or the car! The only evening we were able to eat at the restaurant, we were very surprised at the prices! A Cesar salad (fr. 33.-) cost more than the main meal. On the other hand, the food was very good. Also the two ladies at breakfast very nice compared to the lady at the reception and the bar. Well we then learned that all the staff had only been there since December and they were very young so we can excuse these young ladies, but not the hotel management who left them alone without guiding them. No information on the region and the slopes either, no asking how the stay went, nothing! And the crowning glory, the ski room is not heated, so it is not possible to dry the shoes and no charging station for the electric car (according to the receptionist). Really not recommended!

We stayed two nights in the ground floor suite. Our first impressions were good, but a number of issues and our subsequent experiences meant our stay was disappointing. One of the reasons we booked this hotel was that it had a hot tub. However, on day one it wasn't working, we asked afterwards at reception and were told that hopefully it would be working the following day...although it wasn't. Perhaps the most disappointing part of the stay was the bar and restaurant. Perhaps it was due to short staff, but we waited what seemed an age both nights at the bar. On the second night, it took 20 minutes for me to even find someone to get a drink. Then, at the restaurant, despite us having booked a table, we had a 'strong discussion' with three of the hotel staff about whether we had a booking or not. We were told that as we didn't have a booking, they could offer us a table but which wasn't great. I pointed out that if they went and looked in the green book at reception, they'd find we had made a booking. Eventually we got a table that was OK and surprisingly, there were several tables unoccupied during the evening so what was all the fuss about? On both nights the service was extremely slow, the food itself was OK but nothing special. Another small point, there was a coffee machine in the room, but no coffee pods. We asked on day one if we could have some, they never materialised so in the end we bought our own in a shop. This is all very negative but it reflects our experience. The frustrating thing is that the hotel itself is in great condition. Our room was excellent. The rest of the spa was really good quality (although the swimming pool was too cold to use). Ultimately though, it's the overall experience that counts, hence the title disappointing - and we paid a huge amount as well for this negative experience! We also hoped to raise these points at check-out, but we weren't asked about our stay - probably because the feedback wouldn't have been great - and I couldn't be bothered and just wanted to get on our way.

Great hotel!! Freshly renovated with comfortable rooms, excellent food and a first-class wellness area (four saunas and two pools). I stayed in a junior suite myself and felt completely at home. The area surrounding the hotel is exciting for all mountain enthusiasts - whether summer or winter, there are countless leisure activities here. The hotel manager deserves special mention: Mario looks after his guests himself with a lot of experience, individual attention and a fine sense of humor, ensuring that you get a unique and unforgettable hotel experience. All in all, a clear recommendation - definitely give it a try!
