The free hanfu experience was disappointing. There was no enthusiasm or any attempt to promote the services. Initially I was keen on the add-on make-up experience but did not have the confidence to take it up seeing the lack of motivation from the service staff, who were busy on their phones most of the time. We had breakfast at the Rui noodle house. The food was so-so compared to everything else we tried in Suzhou. However i am rating Pan Pacific 5 stars as the above are not directly controlled (I assume) by the hotel. The hotel’s service staff were warm and helpful. They arranged for a room with a fantastic view of the Panmen Scenic Area. Also, we received a surprise dessert/birthday treat in the room with a sweet note. Derrick at the front desk was especially helpful and proactive with solving a payment issue we had with food delivery and arranging for late checkout. Thank you! We also appreciate the tickets and access to the Panmen area. It was super lovely to enjoy all it had to offer at a leisurely pace without the crowds at some other scenic areas. All in all a wonderful stay and we would be most confident to recommend Pan Pacific Suzhou to family and friends.

Love this cute little hotel! The lobby doubles as a bakery so u might miss it when looking at street level, but the hotels name is in large font on the building itself ! It’s to the right of Suzhou Bank. We booked the loft room and had a very pretty unblocked view 😊 The toilet is glass and can be seen from the upper loft level so that’s a bit award when you’re showering or using the toilet 😅

Really popular old hotel, lots of people. Staff spoke English (which is not the norm in China). The hotel has a “theme”, not sure which theme it is (😂), but at least is not a copy-paste business hotel. Latin music was playing in the lobby. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Lots and lots of options. From rabbit candy to pork buns. The best thing is that it is included for free. The not so good part: room shows the age of the hotel. A bit dusty in some areas, bathroom door didn’t fully close. Leaving a considerable gap. My girlfriend and I had to take turns to use the toilet comfortably, but we were there only one night so it wasn’t a deal breaker. We got a really really good deal for the one night + breakfast, so I feel that its short comings can be excused.

The hotel service is very good. It is convenient to go anywhere near the subway station. There are many delicious food on Guanqian Street and it is also convenient to go to tourist attractions. Recommended stay

Very satisfied, very clean and sanitary, the air conditioning is sufficient, very quiet, not noisy, and the beautiful lady at the front desk even extended the stay for free! The attitude is very good, not bad, not bad

My initial stay didn’t start off great. The concierge saw me struggling with my luggage and didn’t bother to help (would rather listen to his music on his AirPods). Told the front desk (they could check CCTV to see he just sorta watched me). To make amends they sent up some fruit. The room was a good size and clean. The morning buffet is alright but better to get something outside of the hotel as the variety wasn’t too good. Overall a good stay and I would recommend. One downside for sure was the gym / pool. It’s hard to find and the service was terrible. People on their phones until I asked for their attention (just to check details) and they just kept going “Shenme?” Made no effort to help so bailed. It looked pretty filthy as well.

Completely unexpected surprise, the luxury of the off-season week experienced. The hand sanitizer is super easy to use and washes hands without drying them out. However, the soundproofing of the old house is really poor. You can hear any movement in the corridor clearly, and even the quarrel downstairs makes you immersed in the scene. The hygiene in the hotel is relatively poor. Every place that can be seen is clean on the surface, but in invisible places, such as in the paper towel tube and under the pillow, there may be traces left by unknown residents. Serve: Although there are some shortcomings in hardware, they are very serious about service. Except for a girl at the front desk who was in a bad mood every day and had a bad face, everyone else was very friendly. They even gave me a silk scarf when I checked out. The hotel is located at the former site of Lize Women's School in the scenic area of ​​Tongli Ancient Town. It has a beautiful environment and is very close to Tuisi Garden, Jiayin Hall, Chongben Hall and other attractions. Free guided tours of the above attractions are provided at 10 am. If you are driving, you can park your car in the Zhenbei parking lot and walk to the hotel for about 10 minutes. If you have luggage, you can contact the hotel for pick-up. The room is fully equipped, free fruits and drinks are provided, and the service is in place. The only drawback is that the hotel restaurant is not open, making dining inconvenient. Fortunately, the surrounding businesses are developed and you can taste local food.

Location is great and within walking distance to Ping Jiang Street and Shuang Ta food building. It's easy to get transportation via didi app to travel to various unesco sites such as Humble Administrator's Garden, Suzhou museum, Master of the Nets etc. Accommodation is great. Staff asked if we prefer the room facing the bustling street or the residential area which was serene with birds chirping in the mornings. Hotel breakfast was sufficient and mainly local fare. No laundry service but hotel has a laundry room which is great! Service staff team are attentive; the chambermaid, laundry room lady and reception were very polite and service oriented. I'll return to this hotel again!
