The experience you get when you arrive at this hotel is that it has no reservation, there is no Wi-Fi, there is no one to rely on around, and you can't get through to the owner listed on the phone. The closest airport to the town of Swakopmund where this hotel is located is Walvis Bay Airport. Flights fly from Johannesburg and Cape Town, and all flights arrive around evening on weekdays except Saturdays and Sundays. Therefore, you can only get a local SIM card the next day, as the stores are closed. With this in mind, I traveled from the airport to the hotel and arrived at around 5:30 p.m. local time. There were similar buildings in the area, but strangely, all of the buildings had their gates closed. It was clear that the hotel was not open for business. However, the address listed for the hotel was here. I talked to people in the building (I don't know if they were employees), but all I got was that they couldn't confirm my reservation and that there was no Wi-Fi. And then you just end up in the situation I described at the beginning. In the end, I was able to get a ride from someone I met locally and change to another large hotel, but I would recommend booking a different hotel from the start.
