I loved my stay here in this beautiful and peaceful part of England. The inn is full of character and very cosy. The food in the restaurant was fantastic, sourced locally, and cooked to perfection. The staff were exemplary, helpful, and made me feel so welcome. I can't wait to return!

Food was average, not a lot to eat, meals were very small, desserts were not worth the money, the Bakewell tart was only half a small tart cut in half, maybe they had run out of tarts, we did laugh. Won’t be going again very expensive for the isle of Sheppey, the restaurant wasn’t full, have lived on this island many years and the pub/restaurant used to be very busy.

Here for a lunch in a nice setting . Cocktails lovely . A bit of a blip in the kitchen but complimentary cocktails offered and accepted . Lovely selection of Small plates … food wonderful . A bit disappointed with the large plate beef burger for £ 20 .. was a mini burger dwarfed by the plate .

Sat by a window looking over the estuary with a cosy fire burning, it was a lovely setting for a delicious and wholesome lunch. Staff were friendly and attentive, atmosphere was good, the menu was varied and delicious. Great attention to detail too

There was a warm welcome at The Ferry House Inn, cozy surroundings and an open fire. I had pre-ordered from the vegan menu (a requirement). My friend & I ordered our drinks at the bar, as we had arrived early. We were offered the choice of going to the table or we could sit near the fire until ready to eat. Once seated at the table we were offered water and not long after the food arrived. The starter - Wild mushroom arancini in the garlic emulsion with tarragon was well presented. The arancini was lovely and crispy and the flavours of the mushroom and garlic is just a classic win win combination. During the first course we were checked on to see that everything was of satisfaction and if we required anything else this continued through the courses. The main - Garden burger and triple cooked chips, I did find that the pickled relish over powered the flavours of the burger other than that the chips were crispy with a fluffy centre. The dessert - Almond Pannacotta with shortbread crumb & roasted plums again very well presented with floral decorations, the Pannacotta had good shape and the flavours went well together, I did find a couple of the plums more than tart on there own. (we did joke about what if the waitress came out whilst we were eating one whilst we were wincing at the tartness, which did happen ... So apologies as we may have come across a bit rude). Over all the meal was of good portions, staff very attentive and you certainly cannot fault the building and it's beautiful surroundings. So we came away more than satisfied thank you. A little on the expensive side for a vegan menu. Other than that it was a very enjoyable lunch date with a dear friend.

Stayed in room 1. 2 single beds. Twin. Delightfully decorated. Clean. Warm. Smelt divine. Comfortable. No view from window. Complementary slippers, coffee pods, water tea and hot chocolate. Even fresh home made carrot cake.! Divine. Bathroom: Powerfull shower, lovelyhot water ,shampoo conditioner and body wash smells fabulous! Don't think of taking as it kindly advised on the bottle, you will be charged "£20 if I'm taken home". Which, I think is brilliant! You can purchase them from reception. Small tv, which is dated, but absolutely perfect and works well with all channels and more! The room heated up so well I had to turn the heating off and use the fan which was perfect. Breakfast: Beautiful setting. Stunning food. 10/10 Help yourself to toast home made preserves, drinks and toast. Then take your pick from cooked. Service: I could not fault my stay or service. From the moment I stepped foot into the Inn I was greeted by a wonderful lady ,whom I didn't get her name! She bought me up some complementary cake made sure I was fully catered for and left. I then was greeted by the same lovely lady for breakfast. Who again made me feel welcome and made sure all my needs met. Friendly caring and not over the top for early morning service.clearly loves her job and a total credit to the place. My stay was delightful. I was left alone knowing I was able to go down to the bar/restaurant at any time. I was shown the route out once the bar door locked, and I was aware if I needed anything to ask. My only issue was not knowing which one of the lovely beds to choose 😉

We had a wonderful stay, but unfortunately *********** hadn’t informed the hotel and the room I thought I’d booked wasn’t available. The hotel was so apologetic and offered us complimentary drinks and a room change. However the room we had was stunning and beautifully designed. Very luxurious and comfortable but not with the view we had wanted. It didn’t spoil our stay. We had dinner in the evening and a lot of the food is from the estate and farm as well as the kitchen garden. Dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. Thank you all for friendly hospitality.

I had a work team meeting here on a Monday and so drove 5 hours here on the Sunday. I was met by a very friendly and helpful team. I sat down to an amazing evening meal before retiring to my room, where there was a range of quality hot drinks available, a kettle and a coffee machine. The room was very comfortable and the en suite of clean and well presented with beautiful toiletries provided. The shower was very powerful and I did not have to wait for it to warm up in the morning. I slept much better than I normally would in a hotel for an overnight stay. I had the full English breakfast which was delicious and exceeded expectations, being elevated considerably above and beyond a standard full English. It was worth the long drive just for breakfast! The meeting room was perfect for our team and food and drinks laid on did not disappoint. I look forward to returning for a personal break, for longer, to be able to enjoy more that this beautiful venue has to offer.

Booked a table for Sunday lunch, when we arrived we were shown to our table and within 5 minutes we were asked if we were ready to order? Having asked for a little time to check the menu we eventually placed our order after 20 minutes wait, the starters eventually arrived and the pheasant was over cooked, it was over an hour between arriving and finishing the starter and it was not even busy, already ordered roast beef which turned up thinly sliced and very fatty, duck fat roasted potatoes which didn’t taste nice with the beef and vegetables was spinach? Didn’t even bother with the desert and won’t be going back. An expensive mistake
