Worst "five star" hotel I stayed in twenty years.
I recently stayed at Kimpton Margot and had a thoroughly unpleasant experience. Frankly I want my money back for the two night stay. Here are the main issues I encountered:
1. Cleanliness:
• The first room had visible stains on the bed.
• The second room had long black hairs on the bed.
2. Noise:
• The first room was extremely loud due to machine noise from above, making it impossible to sleep.
• The second room was quieter, but there was constant noise from outside during the day.
3. Room Amenities:
• The air conditioning in the second room was problematic, making the room ice cold regardless of the set temperature.
4. Breakfast:
• The breakfast selection was extremely limited, with the buffet offering only croissants.
Overall, my stay was very disappointing. I hope management will address these issues to improve the experience for future guests.
