The room is a bit small but comfortable and cosy for both of us. The room and toilet are well maintained and clean. We're happy with the reception staff, they are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but I would suggest a wider spread of choices. Overall, we're happy with our stay .. quiet and safe environment :). There are quite a number of eateries near the hotel and very convenient to travel to other places via the train.

The hotel is within walking distance of a metro station but a little far from the city centre. Breakfast was the same every day but rooms were generally comfortable and staff accommodating.

15 minute walk from the nearest MRT station is not bad at all. I like the fact that they clean the room and change the towels every day. Breakfast can be improved, though. The staff are helpful and kind. Overall, I had a pleasant stay at the Metro Hotel.

It's a nice old style hotel. Great customer service. Rooms are quite spacious, it is recently renovated. It's about 10mins walk to the nearest MRT station.

Used for a weekend trip to Taipei. It's within walking distance of Xingtian Temple, and the room itself is old. But the room is simple, the bathroom is clean, and there are no bugs in the bed. Recommended for those who want to have a great time in Taipei and only want to sleep in the hotel. I enjoyed an unhealthy massage at the health center next to Xingtian Temple.
