Best Hotels near National Taipei University of Technology Library, Taipei

Location- located next to the mrt station so very convenient. There is a Yong He Dou Jiang nearby for those who would like to try. Food- I did not order the breakfast. There is an Italian restaurant in the hotel. We ordered pizza and pizza is nice. There is some nice cafes nearby but did not get to try. Amenities- shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are provided. There is a public bath at level 17 but I did not try. There is a Lounge af level 2 for u to get bottles of water and complimentary coffee. Service - staff are polite. Room is clean. Others - it cost about $1300 to cab from hotel to Taoyuan airport. Journey takes about 40mins if traffic is smooth.

Before my trip, I did a good survey of hotels in Taipei, and we have read about hotels that are well received by guests online. When I got off the bus from the airport ($135, the company shuttle bus you have to know that it stopped opposite the Kaitong Hotel. Next, when we wanted to charge the digital camera, we found that there was no free socket except to unplug the hair dryer! If we both wanted to charge at the same time (say, mobile phones), we had to unplug the TV!! Now I find this to be crazy. Breakfast (we went there at about 9 o'clock, breakfast served until 9:45) and the food that served us was very poor. There were a few porridges (there weren't many side dishes left), and a few fried things I didn't eat because they were really offering something that needed to be improved. My companion and I were eating quietly, and we were all thinking, ”Oh my God... this is what's called great,” and it was the fastest breakfast we had during our holiday. All of this should be borne by me as this is my second trip to Taipei and my companions are here for the first time and we are here on holiday looking for a decent, comfortable enough 3 star hotel. Nor is it that I do not recommend Kaitong Hotel at all, because the hotel is near the subway station (Zhongxiao Xinsheng) is a good choice for some people who want to save money for taxis (although it doesn't cost much to take a taxi in the city). I guess the final conclusion is that if you have extra money and want to return to a nice, comfortable hotel after a day of shopping/bar/sightseeing, you better stay at other, more fashionable hotels. If you are the kind of hotel that is not very demanding, you are looking for a bath, clean enough to look new or old, then Kaitong Hotel is a good choice for you. Also, the next day, Taipei Fullerton 315 called us - some customers cancelled their booking at the last minute so they had a room available. We changed hotels that day. For the next three days, we were tired from shopping and our arms were soft, and the three of us were lucky we changed hotels. We were so tired from the day we broke our waists, and our return to such a comfortable hotel made us all cry with joy.

What I like most is that there is a 26-year-old girl named Lily in the housekeeping department who cleans the room very seriously and carefully. She is a very kind and polite child! Let me see that Taiwan has hope of becoming one of the Four Asian Tigers again! Location is superb. The only issue I had was the noise since i got the window bed. I can even listen clearly to the conversation downstairs. Plus the car & motorcycle sound is very loud. Bathroom & toilet is clean. But have to wait for quite some time coz it’s shared with 2 dormitories.

Generally, I don’t choose youth hostel accommodation when I go out. Considering that accommodation costs in Taipei are generally high, and I leave early and come back late every day, the actual time in the room is very short, so I stayed here once. It was also my first time staying in a youth hostel. . The overall condition of the public bathroom is quite clean. If it is a girls' bathroom, there is a special access control. There will be almost no services during the stay, so there is nothing to comment on.

I would definitely like to stay at this hotel again if I come to Taipei! The room was very clean, and the bathroom was very clean, so I was able to stay there with peace of mind. I'm also happy that they provide bath salts. All the staff were very kind and seemed to be able to communicate in both English and Japanese. One interesting thing was that the free water was not 500ml, but a large plastic bottle lol

Good location near Taipei Station but no window in the room so you can't tell is day or night and the toilet is translucent glass so will be problem for friend or colleagues if share room. Toilet don't have shelve to place toiletries and no mirror in the room for dress up.

Location was great with just 3mins walking distance to the train station. The hotel is thoughtful with the extension of welcome drink till 11pm where you can chill at the dining place when you are back. Hotel is new and clean! Definitely a good catch!

Huge room and nice amenities. Carpeted floor makes allow comfortable walk around in the room without the need for bathroom slippers. Location very good. Walked for a bit to Taipei 101 view

Always amazed with their anticipate service at reception, manager train its staff very well. The only thing is their departure time set it quite straight, extend 30 mins at 1 price and 1 hour so on etc. Staff present the extension issue also quite blunt. Can modify the staff expression or presention
