JR Clement Hotel Takamatsu is conveniently located next to major transportation hub including subway station, bus station and ferry terminals to other scenery islands. It has many restaurants nearby. The rooms are very spacious. Staff are very helpful, patient and attentive to details. Pricing is very reasonable.

２ mid-middle, ２ night ３ day Shikoku trip, １ night I disturbed my wife. The location is located in the downtown area of Takamatsu, about ５ minutes walk from Kotoden Kawaramachi Station, there is a large shopping center nearby (next to the next), and there is a convenience store at the entrance of the hotel, which is very convenient. There is no parking lot, and if you use a car, the parking lot of the adjacent shopping center (Marugame Town Green) is a affiliated P, so you will be asked to discount at check-in. The front desk, lounge and restaurant are on the ２ floor, and breakfast is served here. ３ The lower floors above the floor are the hotel floors. The upper floors are dormitories, and there seems to be a coin laundry in the middle. I used the twin on the hotel floor, but the room seems to have been renovated recently and the room is clean. The size is minimal, especially the unit bath is extremely narrow, so if you use each toilet, washbasin, and bath, you may be in danger of hitting your feet and head if you don't devise a little. The location is just above the shopping mall. Below is the longest covered commercial street in Japan, which is very convenient for eating, drinking and shopping. The room is not too big and has everything you need. The smoking room where we stayed didn't have any cigarette smell. Breakfast is in another restaurant on the second floor, which is quite good. It only takes half an hour to walk from the hotel to Takamatsu Station and Takamatsu Port, and you can basically reach it by walking slowly through the commercial street.

My husband and I chose the Uno Hotel because we wanted easy access to the art islands in the Seto Inland Sea. Hotel is a 3 or 4 minute easy walk to Uno Port which is the gateway to those islands. And ferry ride only about 15 minutes one-way. We expected the art islands to be great but this is a new hotel so we took a chance. Wow, what a wonderful experience on every level; the room, hotel team, restaurant, and the food was exceptional. The Uno Hotel is also within a 1 minute walk to a building which houses Onsen (hot springs baths and spa) and a Japanese restaurant, which they also own. (We did not have time to explore those but heard great things.) I could rave about the restaurant in the hotel called “Bluno” for days….we enjoyed breakfasts and dinners there - each superb with great attention-to-detail. A special treat was meeting restaurant manager Mr. Aran Teruo Pascual. He was kind, professional and personally makes one want to return in addition to the food and contemporary bright setting. The front desk team is warm, welcoming and attentive. When making a reservation I noticed there are multiple hotels or inns that have the name “Uno” in it so my suggestion is that you note that it is the Uno Hotel. I recommend higher floor on the water side, the hotel is not on the water, but lovely view. We look forward to returning.

A hotel with a club lounge is good. I chose this hotel because it is the most rated hotel in Takamatsu and the lounge. The interior is made of wood, brown-based, and has a calm and nice atmosphere. The room is a bit small, but it is quite easy to use because there is a dedicated desk for work. The lighting in the room seemed to be a little dark to match the wooden eyes, and the work at night was a little difficult. The web is comfortable, the location is close to Kawaramachi Station, and the shopping street is also close. It is conveniently located and has a luxury hotel, so I think it is quite good. Therefore, it is not suitable for those who want to leave their luggage at check-in and check-out. For those who do not, it will be one of the candidates for accommodation in Takamatsu, where accommodation costs tend to be high.
