JR Clement Hotel Takamatsu is conveniently located next to major transportation hub including subway station, bus station and ferry terminals to other scenery islands. It has many restaurants nearby. The rooms are very spacious. Staff are very helpful, patient and attentive to details. Pricing is very reasonable.

The location is located in the downtown area of Takamatsu, about ５ minutes walk from Kotoden Kawaramachi Station, there is a large shopping center nearby (next to the next), and there is a convenience store at the entrance of the hotel, which is very convenient. There is no parking lot, and if you use a car, the parking lot of the adjacent shopping center (Marugame Town Green) is a affiliated P, so you will be asked to discount at check-in. The front desk, lounge and restaurant are on the ２ floor, and breakfast is served here. ３ The lower floors above the floor are the hotel floors. The upper floors are dormitories, and there seems to be a coin laundry in the middle. I used the twin on the hotel floor, but the room seems to have been renovated recently and the room is clean. The size is minimal, especially the unit bath is extremely narrow, so if you use each toilet, washbasin, and bath, you may be in danger of hitting your feet and head if you don't devise a little. Even if I was １７３ centimeters tall, I thought that my knees would stick to the wall when I sat down, and if a large foreign traveler used it, I would have a hard time. On the other hand, I was impressed with breakfast, and instead of the busy place that is often found in business hotels, the restaurant with a wide 々 and space has a rich buffet menu. The hotel is right opposite Takamatsu Station and you can see it when you exit the station or get off the highway bus. The hotel has two buildings. Check-in is in Building 1. There are Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk, so check-in is very convenient. The single rooms in the hotel are relatively spacious and clean. If you choose not to clean them, there will be a basket with replacement items at the door the next day. There is coffee and other drinks for self-service on the first floor. There are many restaurants and convenience stores around, and there is a large shopping mall next to Takamatsu Station, but please pay attention to the restaurant's business hours. It is very close to Takamatsu Port and Tamamo Park. If you get up early, you can go to the beach. If you want to go to Shodoshima and other islands, it is very convenient to stay in this hotel. There is a bus hub in front of Takamatsu Station, and there are many transportation options.

My husband and I chose the Uno Hotel because we wanted easy access to the art islands in the Seto Inland Sea. Hotel is a 3 or 4 minute easy walk to Uno Port which is the gateway to those islands. And ferry ride only about 15 minutes one-way. We expected the art islands to be great but this is a new hotel so we took a chance. Wow, what a wonderful experience on every level; the room, hotel team, restaurant, and the food was exceptional. The Uno Hotel is also within a 1 minute walk to a building which houses Onsen (hot springs baths and spa) and a Japanese restaurant, which they also own. (We did not have time to explore those but heard great things.) I could rave about the restaurant in the hotel called “Bluno” for days….we enjoyed breakfasts and dinners there - each superb with great attention-to-detail. A special treat was meeting restaurant manager Mr. Aran Teruo Pascual. He was kind, professional and personally makes one want to return in addition to the food and contemporary bright setting. The front desk team is warm, welcoming and attentive. When making a reservation I noticed there are multiple hotels or inns that have the name “Uno” in it so my suggestion is that you note that it is the Uno Hotel. I recommend higher floor on the water side, the hotel is not on the water, but lovely view. We look forward to returning.

The station and shopping street were also convenient. When I contacted you with a water heater error, I was grateful for your polite response even though it was midnight. However, it was good to have a washing machine and dry the bathroom, but it was a little inconvenient to bring it because there was no clothesline and there was no big hanger to dry the bath towel.

You need to call the front desk more than one hour in advance to pick up and drop off at the hour. It can be from 3 pm to 7 pm; Checkin can take you back to Takamatsu Station at about 9 or 10 the next morning. And the good places: 1. This time, the cheapest room is set, but it is not small in Japan, and the bed is particularly comfortable. It is in the form of a suite. The photos given by the hotel do not reflect the advantages at all; next time you must experience the superior room; 2. The scenery of the big bath is very good at night, the night view of Takamatsu is panoramic, the hot spring is also good, and the skin is slippery after soaking; 3. Open-air balcony coffee juice popsicles are provided free of charge, and there is foot soup to soak; 4. If you bring children and like trains, the downstairs is the Takamatsu vehicle section, which is absolutely cool; 5. The price is also very affordable. When I stayed, it was more than 100 more expensive than the budget hotel in the city. It was definitely worth the fare!

I used the room of the new building. It is less than 々 away from Takamatsu station, and the bus seems to be not after the evening, so I went to the taxi. It happened to be a Japanese holiday, and a room that usually costs 300 was sold to more than 1,000. But fortunately, the location is good, you can walk to Takamatsu Station. There is a Lawson convenience store downstairs. The hotel is on Central Avenue, opposite the bustling commercial street. A little further ahead is the Mitsukoshi Department Store, which is very convenient for eating and shopping. The skin care products are provided with DHC and can be taken freely in the lobby. This is a bit domineering, but it is also a bit puzzling that such a famous hotel chain does not provide shower caps. . .

It is very close to Kawaramachi Station and can be reached within a five-minute walk. There is a 24-hour beverage bar. There are disposable toiletries. The service staff can speak English.
