Vicinissimo alla stazione, si raggiunge in pochi minuti l'edificio, si prende la scala mobile e si sale al primo piano dove è presente la reception. Le stanze doppie sono nella media delle stanze giapponesi, quindi piccole, ma tutto sommato tranquille. Nell'hotel è presente servizio di lavanderia fai-da-te ed è possibile (anche se non ci sono andato) usufruire dell'onsen; difficoltà di comunicazione con il personale della reception. La cosa più simpatica dell'hotel resta il sarubobo gigante (ossia la bambola-amuleto tipica della cittadina) che staziona all'ingresso della reception. Consigliato per chi è di passaggio per Takayama e per chi vuole una base di partenza per la visita al caratteristico paese di Shirakawa-go.

A new hotel just built in front of Takayama station. It is a stay type hotel, but artists are decorated everywhere and fashionable. This time, Superior twin. The room itself is not particularly characteristic, but there is a sofa on the window side and it can be relaxed. This sofa is a bed, so you can stay for three people. Electric pots, empty refrigerators, washing dryers, microwave ovens, etc. are also complete. Recommended for long stay. The bathroom is small in the unit. Especially the toilet is small. There is a comfortable public bath, so I wanted to relax the toilet part only by shower. Amenities are only toothbrushes, and amenities are available on the first floor. Shaving, brush, tea bags such as tea and green tea, cosmetics, cotton swabs, cotton, etc. The public bath is also fashionable with designer specifications. There is also an open-air bath. You can enjoy two different design hot springs in the men and women replacement system. The atmosphere is like a public bath in a luxury inn. It doesn't seem to be in front of the station. There are also view lounges and foot baths on the top floor. Convenient location and recommended for sightseeing and business. The staff has a level difference depending on the person. Hotel is in a very good location being very near to the Old Town where the attractions and restaurants are. However there is limited parking space, and we had to park in a public car park 100m away. Staff were friendly, but communication was a little difficult as they were not very conversant in English. Overall nice hotel.

We were lucky to stay at Mercure Takayami on their opening night. Everything about the hotel was above our expectations. Rooms were a very comfortable with attention to detail. Having USB and USB C charging ports for our electronics next to the bed was very convenient and meant we didn't need to search for our Japan power adaptors. This hotel has been well designed with a focus on local traditional carpentry and joinery skills. When you book this hotel make sure you book a room that includes access to the private Onsen. We had an open-air experience while we watched the snow from our private onsen. Breakfast had an extensive range of Tradition Hida dishes and Western choices, with different options available each day. This was a great way to try Hida Beef Curry and Hida chicken cooked on a traditional grill. Staff were very helpful going above and beyond with their dedicated and personal service, even searching the internet for me to find a store that sold Yama Cola. We will be back to stay again and will try to stay longer next time.

1 The location is excellent, alpine JR comes out and turns right and goes straight, until it is at the traffic lights at the end, about 5-8 minutes walk. And alpine cherry blossoms are neighbors.
2 The room is large in size and the facilities are a bit old, but clean and tidy. Air conditioning and humidifiers are equipped with hot water bottles. The air conditioner was opened before entering the room and the hot water was boiled, which is also very intimate.
3 The top floor can be soaked, we stayed for 2 nights and soaked twice, no one. You need to take a bath before taking a bath. There are many brands of shower gel, shampoo, facial milk can be selected, and it is very comfortable to take a bath there.
4 Breakfast with Japanese and Western options, we chose Japanese, very simple, but also quite delicious.

Our stay at Oyado Hachibee was wonderful! The rooms are peaceful, the staff is welcoming, and the meals are delicious. We enjoyed the baths immensely. If you're nervous about traditional Japanese food, don't be, it was very tasty and there are many things to try. We appreciated the coin-op laundry. The hotel is a 30 minute walk (partly uphill) from town, which is doable, but there's also a bus that runs twice per hour. We took the hotel shuttle back to the train station. While you're in Takayama, check out old town and the shrine walk. Excellent hospitality! Highly recommended.

The free transfer bus is operated at intervals of 30 minutes ～ 1 hours from the west exit of JR Takayama station, and guests can use it without reservation. There was a front desk, lobby, restaurant and open-air bath on the first floor, and the restaurant had dinner business, but this time I was allowed to use breakfast only. Although it was originally a reservation in a single room, it was good to have an upgrade to a twin room on the fourth floor at check-in, and the room was large 々 and I could sleep comfortably. It was good to be away from the urban area of HIDA Takayama and to taste the resort feeling at a reasonable price, but there were no restaurants and convenience stores around, and if you don't have a car, you will be around Takayama station in advance You need to finish the meal or buy it at takeout.

Just returned from a 12 day tour Treasures of Japan with Mercury Holidays, we stayed at this hotel for two nights, excellent hotel very clean and comfortable with everything you needed for your stay, you can enjoy the hot spring baths the ladies and gentlemen go separately as no clothing is worn, breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice, staff very friendly and helpful, the hotel runs a shuttle service into Takayama you are given a time table on arrival, a supermarket is just over the road from the hotel, we enjoyed full days sightseeing around Takayama with our guide Inage, enjoyed our stay would definitely recommend this hotel.

Already the third time to stay. I think this is a niche hotel, suitable for travelers who are willing or want to stay in the mountains in the middle of nowhere and are not looking for the services or facilities provided by the hotel. There really aren't any other buildings/facilities nearby (within walking distance) (unless you plan on hiking or walking up/down the mountain for 20 minutes). If you don’t drive by yourself, there are only buses that run every hour. It does not have gorgeous/elegant decoration, nor advanced/luxury facilities; but if you like historical hotels and/or unique accommodation experiences, you may want to take a hard look at the map and consider whether you are interested in giving it a try .

GGuest UserThe hotel is 15 minutes walk from the railway station bus stop, and the scenery along the way is beautiful. The hotel is run by several elderly people. It is already a 65-year-old hotel. Starting from the boss's grandfather, the house has a history of 125 years and is very Japanese. The ornaments in the house can be shot for an hour. There is a special doll, and I am fortunate to see the dolls of the boys' day. The old people are very enthusiastic, the breakfast is delicious, it is served by a Japanese grandmother. It is really like a grandmother in anime. It is very similar to talking and walking. The breakfast is very harmonious. I still remember the fish.

GGuest UserThis hotel provided great service and clean accommodations. I love that hotels in Japan provide pajamas and toothbrushes. This hotel had two public baths. It's nice that they have one bath where the water is not as hot. We had the dinner buffet. It included American and chinese offerings. You receive a ticket for one serving of the Hida beef. I thought the food was good. I like that the portions are small, so you can try a lot of things. We also had the breakfast buffet which included Takayama specialty items too. There is a large souvenir shop in the hotel, so you are able to pick up gifts. I thought the prices are comparable to other gift shops. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the train station. It is a 7 minute walk to the train station, so it's not so bad. They only have two shuttles that go to Takayama Jinya (government house) which is across the bridge from Sanmachi Suji. Otherwise it's at least a 20-25 minute walk. I wish they had more shuttles to that area. There is not much to look at on the way from the hotel to Sanmachi. As Takayama becomes more popular with tourists, most of the hotel staff and store owners are able to communicate in English. Overall, I enjoyed my time at the hotel and would stay there again.

GGuest User８ Month ２７ 2 nights from day. When I arrived at the hotel, it rained and parked in front of the entrance. １ time until check-in in the lobby. Immediately from the east building where the front lounge is located, the south building. There is a footbath at the end of the aisle and towels are also placed. Take the elevator to the ６ floor. Be careful as the elevator door closes early. The view from the room is mountains. The twin is large enough. The toilet and washroom in the unit bath are good. It's a pity that there is only one room key １. The large communal bath is on the １ floor of the East Building. There is no replacement for men and women. There are about 10 showers in the indoor bath. There is also an open-air bath. Charcoal is burned in the fireplace in front of the entrance of the indoor bath. There are also billiards. There is a heated pool with a depth of 90 cm outside. Although it is not big, there are few hotels in Okuhida with a pool. The meal is Fuyo, a suzuya on the 2nd floor of the East Building, and Japanese food is served with evening breakfast. It is good that there is no tempura in the kaiseki. Alcohol is cheap. There are two smoking areas, the terrace in front of the lobby of the East Building and the wooden deck outside the rest area with the fireplace in the South Building. The next day, around 13:00, I got on a slope car and went to the famous mixed bath open-air bath ”Yari no Yu”. The largest area in Okuhida, certainly wide. If the weather is nice, you can see Mt. Yarigatake. The man is half-pants style. Women wear shoulder-style bathing clothes. There is a dehydrator in the changing room for women, but not for boys.

GGuest UserFrom the time I arrived by car to the time I checked in, I felt a welcome hospitality. There was a coffee service in the lobby lounge. The room was a room plan, and it was a Japanese room ８ tatami & wide edge. In the inn, as I spent almost on the wide edge with a chair, the window was small facing the parking lot, the ceiling was diagonal, and the head hit the threshold, so I said this room might be a translation. The Japanese room was normal, and the room had two keys and Wi-Fi. yukata can be selected for women. There is also cold water and electric pot. The bath was a source of Ni kind, with an open-air bath of sulfur spring and simple spring, and there were two open-air baths and two cherry blossom baths. From the simple spring of the open-air bath, the mountain of Hotaka 々 was desired. The inner bath is sulfur spring. The hot water flowers are sinking. The open-air bath was also large and impressed with the very good hot spring. The laundry wash area has amenities. Dinner was in the large hall and the space between tables was also sufficient. The Hotaka Kai seat was satisfied. Especially the cold tea bowl steaming of HIDA milk and HIDA mozzarella and the pottery plate baking of HIDA beef were especially delicious. Also dessert (cheese cake, caramel pudding was delicious, HIDA melon and pine were sweet. sake was first asked for a cold sake of local sake, but later, a cold sake of local sake was ３ books and is currently discounted at 2000 I noticed that there was a circle later and I had a ３ book set. I enjoyed the difference between the sake ３ seeds and each taste. The meal attendant feels good, and the chakkaman is also on the table. So it was good to bake meat or bake at your favorite time. The joint bath had time constraints, but I used it early in the morning. The washroom is a small bath with only ３ places, but when I used it, I was alone, so I was able to enter it relaxingly. Breakfast was a lunch box for corona convenience. Unfortunately, Bento and miso soup were not delicious, but they left most of them. The accommodation fee is cheap, and there are many taverns and ramen shops around, and I think it is a convenient inn.

CcheriediariesRoom was pretty spacious by Japanese standards. I enjoyed that they offered three private onsens that you could use at no additional cost with no reservation required. GGuest UserThe hot springs are amazing! It's hard to find it. It is highly recommended. The food is also very satisfying and unexplored. However, my partner complained about garger for 2 hours at midnight, or he was sharp and I was also reluctant to drive alone far the next day, and I was reluctant to take any care of it. Check out without breakfast I went back directly, and it was the first time I had such a terrible eye in my life. It's a very good inn, but it's broken! !! I'm sorry, ... The trip I decided on is always a trip destination, and my partner broke the trip with a buggyre that doesn't make sense, and I don't want to go on a trip again, Well, but I'll go again with the original Kiami. I wonder if I'll do it until I die, the inn is the best! There is no doubt!

Very Good
I stayed here with a French friend who was visiting Japan. It had the feel of an old-fashioned house, and the spacious, well-equipped kitchen was used by many foreign guests. It was also nice to be able to enjoy conversation around the hearth. It was in a great location for exploring Takayama, including the Miyagawa Morning Market. I also appreciated the fact that there was a parking lot.

GGuest UserAs the inn's brochure says, ”It feels like it happened a long time ago.” This is an inn where time passes by. The name “Hina no Yu” is “Hina No Hina”. The room was large, about 12 tatami mats, and had a bed, table and chair set. There was also a wide veranda and a porch surrounding the room. The restroom also has a standing restroom for men, and I mentioned that it's rare for an inn to have a men's restroom. When I asked later, I was told that this room was only for boys. Even though I turned off the air conditioner, there was a nice breeze coming in from outside, and I could hear the chirping crows, and we both took a nap after taking a bath. The hot spring had a slight smell of sulfur. The indoor bath was hot and the outdoor bath was lukewarm, which was very comfortable during this hot season. It is a good hot spring with flowing water directly from the source. There are no lotions in the bathroom, so it is better to bring the amenity set provided in your room. There is a rest area near the bath. As I was drinking cold tea, a cool breeze came in from outside through the screen door, and I felt nostalgic for summers before, thinking, ``It's so cool in the evening.'' It's too hot everywhere now. Takahara-juku in the summer is nice and cool. In the rest area, videos of Hotaka and Mt. Yarigatake were shown on the TV, and I watched them while relaxing and drinking something cold. Dinner was served in a private room in a different room. The hinamori was a colorful appetizer with lots of different kinds of seasonal summer vegetables. The sashimi was rock fish and local salmon, the grilled fish was grilled sweetfish, and the ceramic grilled bite-sized steak was Hida beef. The rice was unique and could be eaten as is. A glass of local sake was 660 yen and went well with the food. Breakfast was also served in a private room. The overnight-dried puffer fish and tofu were delicious, and I ended up having a second helping of rice with grilled magnolia miso. After the meal, we had coffee in the lounge in the front area. The coffee cup was in a cup warmer, which was a nice touch since I like hot coffee. Especially in the winter, when you're servicing coffee, the cup gets cold and the coffee ends up lukewarm. In the lounge, there was relaxing classical music playing. It's a shame because it's only cash-only when paying, or because I'm a cashless person. I felt that the quiet landlady and the host had a firm concept for the inn. I entered the hot springs at 2pm and left at 11am, and it was a really relaxing stay.

Ttomarinenyo高山駅から徒歩10分くらいのところにあるアットホームな民宿で、宿からすぐのところで宮川朝市がやっています。 古い街並みにもすぐ行けるためアクセスはとても良いです。 部屋は和室で、とても綺麗でした。 ホテルの方の対応が良かったです。 Oyado Iguchi is good location near Takayama Station and Takayama Old street. In front of Oyado, Miyagawa morning market is held everyday. The hotel is Japanese style room which is so clean. Employee was good and friendly. 宿井口在来高山站附近交通好的酒店。 宿舍前面每天都有早市。房间是日式房间，很干净。服务员很热情。
