Best Takayama Spa Hotels

A new hotel just built in front of Takayama station. It is a stay type hotel, but artists are decorated everywhere and fashionable. This time, Superior twin. The hotel is only 1 block across the JR station with many restaurants around the area, less than 10 minutes leisure walk to the historic area. Room is very well maintained and spacious, with comfortable beddings, strong showers. The hotel is very responsive with my emails and questions, I feel that they are really trying their best to accomodate my request with occupant change that we really appreciate. Breakfast is adequate with a good selection of hot dishes, Japanese and continental. Overall a great hotel in Takayama

From the time I arrived by car to the time I checked in, I felt a welcome hospitality. There was a coffee service in the lobby lounge. The room was a room plan, and it was a Japanese room ８ tatami & wide edge. In the inn, as I spent almost on the wide edge with a chair, the window was small facing the parking lot, the ceiling was diagonal, and the head hit the threshold, so I said this room might be a translation. The Japanese room was normal, and the room had two keys and Wi-Fi. yukata can be selected for women. There is also cold water and electric pot. The bath was a source of Ni kind, with an open-air bath of sulfur spring and simple spring, and there were two open-air baths and two cherry blossom baths. From the simple spring of the open-air bath, the mountain of Hotaka 々 was desired. The inner bath is sulfur spring. The hot water flowers are sinking. I booked late in the peak season but I was quite satisfied !! The hot springs on the rooftop (?) were also good. The rooms are a bit narrow ㅠㅠㅠ

Good location, close to transport. Room had a futon style bed. Shared facilities with a Ryokan and shower with a range of toiletries. Towels, hairdryer, sleepwear, slippers included. Kettle and tea or coffee in the room or at reception. I would stay here again.

Genuine Japanese style accommodation in an Onsen. Facilities are limited but one encounters Japan like no other. Admitting that sleeping on a mattress next to each other is not for everyone and so might be the public shower in the Onsen. Shuttle bus to the city is needed as its quite far from the city centre. Luggage storage is very limited. Curfew at 11pm without exception.
