Crystal V

This hotel has a lot of pros and cons. The property is beautiful and there are games on the property including a large and normal size chess board, a bocce court, and cornhole. The pool was very nice, although it could have used a vacuum clean up. The signage both outside and inside was very poor, leading us to get lost going to the pool and unable to find the gym. The interior is outdated but clean and the rooms are huge. The TV, however, was very small, and came with two remotes for cable and a firestick and with instructions on how to use both. When I tried to access the firestick for streaming, the remote would not work. I had to call staff who changed the batteries, and when this still did not work, they brought up several other firesticks and remotes to try them all out on the TV to get them to work and see what remote went with what firestick. Eventually, a working firestick and remote was hooked up, however, the screen on the TV had a black border all around it making the picture on a small TV even smaller, and difficult to see what we were watching. The staff, particularly David, were very kind and helpful throughout the visit. The spa and restaurant were both closed, despite an activity fee still being charged. Overall, I would not have minded all of the cons of this hotel had it been half the price, and not advertised as being a luxury hotel. This still was okay, but absolutely not worth what they are charging.
