I have to say, upon our boat leaving the island, me and my boyfriend started to miss this place. All the staff are super thoughtful and warm to us during our stay. They always say hi or good morning, good afternoon as long as we have eye contact. They gently serve us without bothering us (quietly put beach towel next to us and not to interrupted our swimming, friendly asked us to have lunch or dinner or not.) From every part you may feel they truly just want their guests have an amazing stay and will do everything to complete what you ask for. Before my trip to the island, I emailed and asked them if they could arrange a romantic beach dinner for us, they only charge a little for setting up the camp and lights (absolutely affordable) and we really had a unforgettable dinner at the beach with breeze and countless stars. They always response the email timely so I could travel without worries. Specially I have to mention their private tour (elephant island, picnic for launch and sea turtle seeing), that was fantastic!!! They had three staff with us (me and my boyfriend) and took 100% good care of us. They bring all the things we might need including the fins, live vest, smirking mask and did not need us to carry a little. I feel so appreciate for everything they’ve done to us. The view, beach and shore are so beautiful (even better than those in El Nido), you could jump into the ocean anytime. We definitely recommend and will come back again.

We just came back from 6 nights on the beautiful Flower Island Resort off Palawan. It is not an island where staff remove rocks on the beach. It is Gilligans Island. Robinson Crusoe-with an option for massage thrown in. It is rustic, it is is wild and beautiful, and left so people can enjoy nature. It is perfect for nature lovers, who do not need a program every moment of the day. We stayed in the middle of May-and were the only guests for a a day or so and were treated with such care and consideration. When two other parties arrive on the island you still had privacy and space. Transfer was flawless. The resort organized the van pick up to and from the resort which took 40 minutes and the boat ride another 20-30 minutes-will depend on the conditions during your stay. Activities- We snorkeled just off the beach every day and that was great. We saw so many different colored fish. They also offer snorkeling trips out to the reef for those that want to see more. There are a lot of activities off island to choose from, Pearl Farm visit, snorkeling, island hopping-but just be aware if you are the only ones on the island the activities are minimum of 4 people. We were ok with staying on the island-exactly what we needed to recharge and we plan on coming back again anyway. There are a couple of island walks you can do, one up to the look out tower and one going around the whole island. If you do the island walk-there are some secluded beaches you can go to on other side. Food- Was amazing and portions very generous. They had dessert at lunch and dinner. There was always a meat and sea food option with every meal. For breakfast you can choose from western style pancakes/eggs and continental or Filipino breakfast dishes. Room- We had the bamboo suite with AC-would recommend getting the room with a fan if you go for a bamboo suite. Our AC unit seemed to have a cooling problem-so go for a fan. The bathrooms in the bamboo suite are a little dated. You also just are reminded to be sparing with water consumption on the island-as we seemed to run out of water in the bamboo room. Staff attended to this as best they could-which is how they handled our entire stay. We had two nights in a Deluxe Villa and there were no problems with water and the AC worked fine. The Bar- We loved hanging out at the bar. The infinity pool was gorgeous and drinks delicious! Good choice of drinks and the mango milkshakes a dream. Staff- Were so friendly and accommodating. As the only guests we were given a lot of attention-but not in an intrusive way. I recommend this island-even though it is a secret you almost want to keep for yourself as I would not want to go there when it is full. It is a perfect get-a-way, off the beaten path. We are already plan to go back next year!

This is an amazing place! Opening the door and seeing the sea right there, the staff couldn’t be nicer, friendlier and Annie at the reception is an angel! Very interesting tour of the pearl farm, great food, fantastic massages, truly loved our stay. The only thing … I wished the bed was softer but everything else was just wonderful!

I am quite disappointed with the hotel despite its pretty infinity pool. It has the merit of allowing you to visit the pearl farm (be careful at least 2000 pesos per person) even though the farm belongs to them. The complex is pretty, nice walks. But we have to go through them for everything! Especially the meals, we discover the price of the buffet at the end. One evening the buffet made us sick all night (they left it outside for more than 2 hours). The next day we were charged 1000 pesos for 2 spoons of rice... even though we were sick because of them. Our room was accessible by numerous stairs, small, dark, no storage. The bathroom was dangerous: the stairs to go down there are tiled, it slips! In short, it’s meant to be luxurious but it’s a failure. At least it’s very quiet!

This resort belongs to a French businessman who also owns another nearby island dedicated to the cultivation of exceptional pearls since they are naturally golden in color. Magnificent white sand beach on which the refined villas made from local materials are located. I recommend the designer villa with its sophisticated decor and right on the beach. The main activity here is...lounging but you can also visit the pearl farm 1/2 hour away by boat, go fishing or go snorkeling. The restaurant offers cuisine clearly above what is generally found in the Philippines without being exceptional. Very pleasant and dedicated Filipino staff. In 1/2 walk you can go around the island or choose to go up to the lighthouse built at the top which offers an extensive panoramic view of the islands of the Bacuit archipelago.

The staff and managers welcome at the shore of this beautiful island resort was only the beginning of our wonderful stay. You are treated as royalty it seems. Everything was impeccably clean and cared for here and the staff immediately act up on anything you may want or need to know. The variety of healthy food is wonderful and the servers wait out of the way focusing on you anticipating any need you might want or need. We plan on returning.
