During a tour, we slept one night in this average hotel with dark, even spartan decoration. It is only a stopover hotel for the night. Simple dinner with very good soup, well-stocked breakfast. Meals and breakfast served at the table.

The Hotel Calli is located outside of Tehuantepec and is usually used as a stopover. The rooms are spacious and functionally furnished. The breakfast is modest and not worth mentioning. The facility is fine for one night, but not for a longer stay, as the town of Tehuantepec is not particularly worth visiting.

Rooms without hot water, doors and windows leaky, so there are endless mosquitoes, air conditioning only works to a limited extent. Towels only on request. Food overpriced and of poor quality. Breakfast minimalist. Overall not recommended.

Evening stopover following circuit, group of 40 people, arrived late afternoon, very simple room, a little dated, mini bathroom without hot water in our room. The whole group ate at the restaurant in the evening, a basic and limited meal. Didn't eat breakfast, started too early but got a pocket with a few bits and pieces. Not terrible.

It is compulsory to stop at this hotel (which is the best in the area) on the long journey between Oaxaca and San Cristóbal. The structure has remained as it was in the years in which it was built, but set in a large well-kept park and therefore makes everything very peaceful and quiet. The rooms are large with mosquito nets on the windows, small bathroom but with window. Only flaw: very thin walls so you can hear the noises of the neighbors. The abundant breakfast is served with a choice of 2 options (omelette or pancakes) as well as fruit, juice, bread, slices of cake and jam. The reception staff very friendly and helpful. Ask for a taxi which will take you to the center in 10 minutes for 60 pesos. In the square there is the Santo Cafè with a panoramic terrace where you can eat something while listening to music among friendly and welcoming people

Large, outdated hotel. Lots of tour groups stay here during their tours. Hence mass processing. Breakfast is OK. Rooms are small but clean. We only stayed one night in this hotel and arrived late, between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m., and left again at 8 a.m.
