Resort well located in a rather pretty, wooded and mountainous setting. April is the dry season and the river was muddy and did not smell very good. The crystal blue lagoon may exist in the rainy season, but you shouldn't expect it in the dry season. We rented a kayak, for very little time, given the state and level of the river. Rental is expensive, given the limited use possible in the dry season. The room was OK, not very big, clean and well equipped, with a terrace overlooking the river, but prohibitively expensive. $80, without even breakfast, is far too high a price for what is offered. The bungalows in the garden, much more basic, are also offered at a not very cheap rate. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is OK, not very cheap, but the value for money is quite acceptable, given the location.
