These are service apartments, thus you have the benefit of an Apartment feel to it, with some benefits of a Hotel. The location is prime, as you are moments away from key landmarks and attractions. Our Apartment was very well kept, neat, clean and tidy. The units are well equipped, with all the basic appliances, such as Fridge / Freezer, Washing machine and Microwave. The apartment has a kitchenette, dining area, lounge, bedroom and bathroom. There is also a huge terrace with city views. The bathroom has a compact, yet very comfortable bathtub. The water temperature and pressure is perfect. Guests have access to the Gymnasium, Breakfast Lounge and Book Lounge. We will visit again in future.

We checked in at the ”Somerset Olympic Tower”, late Saturday night. This, as another branded hotel, disappointed us greatly, due to basic facilities not being available (we checked out). Upon arrival at the Somerset Olympic Tower, we were warmly received, by the front of house. Special thanks to ”Avery”, for her hospitality and for making us feel right at home, much appreciated. Note: Check in and check out, was effortless and prompt, the way it should be. Thank you. Our suite was exceptionally well equipped. A well layed out kitchen, with major (Fridge, Washing Machine) and minor appliances (Microwave) as well as cutlery and crockery. (Everything you need, for a long or short stay). The dining room had a table and chair set, suitable for family or friends. We enjoyed the lounge area as well, the sofa was comfortable and the area is well organised. There is an office area as well, should you require the use of a desk. The bedroom has a on suite bathroom, equiped with a bathtub / shower combination. We found the bed to be comfortable, with quality bedding on it. The suite has numerous windows, with clear city views. Breakfast (buffet) was excellent, with a great selection (Western and Chinese Style). The facilities are on international standard. Guests can enjoy a fully equiped professional gymnasium, and a heated swimming pool during their stay. Overall we were extremly satisfied with the service received, the facilities and the meals. We look forward to visiting the ”Somerset Olympic Tower” often, and in the near future.

It had a western-style luxury style for senior cadres. The windows were closed, but in fact the lakefront was also closed. It's good, you don't have to get mosquitoes. The bed sheets are lake blue, I don't know if it is to match the lake view room. There are razors, toothbrushes, shower caps, and combs. The sink is also equipped with laundry detergent and disposable toilet mats. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are in large tubs, not in individual small packages. The location where the toilet paper is placed is slightly inconvenient. The wash basin occupies a large area and the basin is quite small. The design is not very good and water can easily spill out, making it more difficult for the cleaning staff. There is a separate wet and dry shower room and a separate bathtub. The water in the shower room is okay, but there is a little water accumulation. The bathtub is a bit hard to describe. Not to mention the glaze falling off the tub, the drain outlet is full of yellowish-brown rust... There is a wardrobe cabinet The light on the side is always on and cannot be turned off, but it does not affect rest. Hygiene: The room is overall good, clean and tidy. The flaws were the yellowish-brown rust on the bathtub outlet, and when I went to bed, I noticed that one of the pillows didn't have a pillowcase. But the flaws are not to be concealed, the overall quality is okay, you can ignore it if you don’t use the bathtub, and the pillow core is also quite clean. Breakfast: I didn’t book breakfast, so I don’t know. When I come to Tianjin, I still want to eat street breakfast to get the feeling. The overall feeling is that it is a hotel that I would stay at again~

Great location, near subway, shops and restaurants. Hotel is close to needing a refurbishment, some areas a bit faded but overall comfortable and clean. Breakfast is currently being delivered to the rooms as restaurant is closed. The breakfast we had was quite good but no choice involved. Would stay here again.

We were very satisfied with the hotel's sanitary facilities. We booked the hotel for three days with only accommodation and no breakfast, and we went sightseeing every day. The hotel's location and transportation are very convenient. It was a satisfactory experience. I just didn’t take any photos in the hotel, so I’ll just post a few sightseeing photos!

Westin hotel facilities, service angel quality, and some business hotels are very different.
