"Room with a view and everything one could need for a good stay! Check-in was smooth, room was equipped with a TV, a fridge/freezer, a separate kitchen area with microwave, bathroom had a washing machine, waterfall shower, and blow dryer. New water bottles were replaced daily and cleaning was available daily. In ideal location in Xiaobailou. It’s directly next to a popular shopping center and down the road is my beloved Tianjin Foreign Studies University."

"The building was the iconic building of Tianjin 30 years ago, but now it definitely shows the age. The apartment we had was very functional but had damp smell so we had to open all the windows at first. The location and amenities are super good especially if you need an extended stay. The best features for us were the view of tourists area and the washing machine. I planned this stop to refresh all our clothes in the middle of our summer trip."

"The room was very clean! Facilities: Simple and clean, perfect for business trips or families with children, as the room is well-equipped with a fridge, oven, and a bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub. Ambiance: Clean, and I really appreciate that the room doesn't have carpet. There's a living area with a sofa and TV. Service: The front desk staff I met was very down-to-earth and patiently answered all my questions. The hotel isn't far from the subway, which is convenient even if you're traveling with luggage. It's also close to Wudadao (Five Avenues), so you can easily walk there to shop during the day."

"Facilities: The overall facilities are quite good. Since we were traveling with an 18-month-old baby, I was very concerned about hotel facilities and any potential safety hazards. Everything was pretty good. However, even on the 23rd floor, we could still hear the karaoke from what I assume is a KTV by the Haihe River on the first floor. It was a bit noisy. We had a city view, so I imagine a river view room might have been even noisier. Hygiene: The hygiene was absolutely fine. Environment: Good. Service: The service was excellent, especially from the front desk and restaurant staff. I must give a special shout-out to the young lady at the front desk coffee/dessert bar; her coffee was delicious. Knowing I wanted to take a picture, she even arranged everything neatly for me. On November 1st, Halloween, we returned to the hotel and saw these adorable cakes. My husband and I bought two slices and had a small celebration with our child on the sofa near the front desk coffee bar. This sense of ritual was wonderful, and these Halloween mini cakes were an unexpected and thoughtful surprise! The staff in the breakfast area were especially friendly to my baby. My baby, liking one of the aunties, even tried to hold her hand. The server humorously remarked that the baby has a good personality but still needs to be watched closely. It was truly excellent!"

"Although I checked in again more than half a year later, Zora at the front desk recognized me immediately and thoughtfully helped me and my daughter arrange adjacent rooms. The bellman was polite and professional. Breakfast is served at the Renaissance Hotel next door, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western options. My daughter used the gym and the butler service was prompt and considerate. The quality of Marriott cannot be said enough!"

"The location and service are definitely highlights. It's surrounded by shopping malls and directly across from a popular snack street, making it super convenient for both leisure and shopping. Check-in was smooth, with a very friendly and efficient front desk. However, the facilities are a drawback. The interior design feels very dated, and there isn't any smart technology in the rooms. The mechanical clicking sound of the light switches really takes you back to childhood. While the mattress has a comfort layer, the springs underneath are still an old interconnected type, feeling saggy with poor rebound. Breakfast was acceptable but not impressive. The two chefs on duty were incredibly busy, handling everything from noodles and pancakes to steamed items and restocking ingredients – they simply couldn't keep up. I waited twenty minutes for cilantro. It seems the F&B department is a bit too strict on labor costs, although there were plenty of staff clearing dirty dishes. On the other hand, for a hotel that's been around this long, its current upkeep is quite commendable. 👍"

"Our stay this time far exceeded expectations, and the overall experience was excellent! The location is truly unbeatable; it's just a few minutes' walk to the Tianjin Eye, and you can even catch a glimpse of the Ferris wheel from your window. Plus, there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The biggest surprise was the service—it was much more attentive than I anticipated. The front desk staff were responsive and very enthusiastic, promptly addressing all our needs. However, the hotel is quite popular and had many guests, so some of the hygiene facilities weren't cleaned thoroughly, and there were a few minor flaws in the details. Overall though, it offers great value for money, with its core strengths really standing out. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Tianjin, and I hope they can improve their cleaning efficiency in the future!"

"This five-star hotel is centrally located, about a ten-minute drive from Tianjin Station, so it's quite close. Upon entering, I immediately felt a warm atmosphere, greeted by a lovely lady, and a gentleman helped with my luggage. The front desk attendant who checked me in was very enthusiastic. The room was spotless and neatly arranged. Checkout was quick and efficient."

"The Haihe Riverside Hotel boasts an unparalleled location, offering absolutely stunning views. The floor-to-ceiling windows provide an unobstructed, panoramic vista of the river. At night, the shimmering city lights make you feel truly immersed in the vibrant urban atmosphere, all while enjoying the hotel's comprehensive facilities. My check-in was slightly delayed due to a hotel event, but the butler thoughtfully arranged for iced coffee to be delivered to my room – much appreciated! If I had one minor quibble, it's that some of the facilities and decor feel a bit dated. For instance, the shower and toilet amenities aren't as modern as what you'd find in a brand new hotel. A coffee machine in the room would also be a lovely addition!"

"Facilities: The elevators are incredibly fast, and the rooms are well-equipped with excellent soundproofing. Cleanliness: The room was spotlessly clean, not a speck of dust anywhere, and even had a subtle, pleasant fragrance. Environment: The location is superb, making it extremely convenient for visiting Wudadao or Binjiangdao – perfect for a city walk. From the room, you can enjoy views of Tianjin Station and the city's light show. Service: Check-in was quick and efficient. All the staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and professional. I initially only booked for one night, but because the experience was so good, and I happened to have some free time the next day, I decided to extend my stay for another night. This is a highly satisfying hotel! I highly recommend it!"
