Tulang2005What satisfied me most about this trip to Yangliuqing Ancient Town was staying in this blue brick courtyard B&B. As soon as I stepped in, the antique atmosphere hit me in the face. The blue bricks and black tiles, carved doors and windows, are full of historical charm, which immediately brought me back to the old times.
There are surprises hidden everywhere inside the room. The bed is soft and comfortable, and the bedding is clean and tidy, allowing me to have a good sleep after a busy day. The interior decoration is simple yet elegant, with a perfect blend of traditional and modern elements. It is fully equipped with air conditioning, smart bathroom and other facilities, allowing guests to enjoy the quaint atmosphere while maintaining the convenience of life.
The public area of the homestay is also very cozy. There are tables and chairs in the courtyard of the quadrangle. In your spare time, you can bask in the sun, drink tea, and feel the peacefulness of time. The boss was very hospitable. He not only helped plan the itinerary, but also shared many local specialties. Every moment in this homestay is extremely comfortable. It is highly recommended to friends who come to Yangliuqing Ancient Town. It will add a different kind of warmth and beauty to your journey.

If you have an early flight this is a good hotel to stay at as it’s only 15 minutes from the airport. The room was clean and the staff very friendly.
My only problem was they had smoking rooms/floors and even though we had a non-smoking room there were some guests who still smoked in the stairwells. This is not the hotel’s fault but should be mentioned in case one cannot stand the smell of smoke.
There is not much for food around the area but for a 5-10 minute taxi ride you can get to an area with more options including some western options if you desire that type.

Guest UserTraveling with family, cleanliness is a high priority for us, and the suite we booked didn't disappoint – it was incredibly clean. Before booking, I called the front desk, and the manager specifically asked the cleaning staff to pay extra attention to the room's hygiene. Both the front desk and the cleaning staff were very welcoming. The induction cooktop also worked great. Our stay was excellent; it's a highly recommended apartment-style hotel.

We chose this hotel for our self-driving trip to Tianjin mainly because it has parking, and there are even EV charging stations in the lot, which is a huge plus for electric car owners – no need to worry about finding an external charging spot!
The breakfast was pretty good too. The lady collecting tickets was very enthusiastic, and the coffee from the automatic machine was decent. They even had freshly made *jianbing* (savory crepes). For the price point, I think the breakfast quality was quite good. The only slight drawback was the *baozi* (steamed buns) – they tasted like pre-made ones with thick wrappers. It would have been great if they were authentic Tianjin *baozi*, but considering the price, it's generally fine.
The two young ladies at the front desk were also very warm and had excellent attitudes.
The lobby is bright and offers complimentary snacks and tea.
The room cleanliness was pretty good, though there was a bit too much dust on the glass lamps beside the bed. Otherwise, it was all good.

Finn_wchmFor this cheap price, we had a great stay!
My friends and I stayed here for a short trip to Binhai while looking for a cheap but still decent hotel.
At just 11€ per person including breakfast, our expectations were not very high — which made the experience even more surprising.
Location
The location is quite convenient: about a 10-minute drive from Tanggu Station and 15 minutes from Binhai Station. To the famous Binhai Library it takes around 10 minutes by car.
There is also a McDonald’s and several convenience stores nearby.
Check-in & Service
Check-in was smooth. We received all necessary amenities such as a toothbrush, comb and razor. The receptionist was very helpful and made sure our two rooms were on the same floor.
Rooms & Facilities
The rooms were modern, clean and quiet. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom had everything you would expect.
Although smoking is permitted inside the rooms, there was almost no smell at all, which didn’t bother us.
A fun extra: food orders were delivered directly to our room by a small robot.
Breakfast
Breakfast was very Chinese. There was a selection of baozi, vegetables, fruits, and some pre-packaged bread. The variety and ambience match the low price, so don’t expect many choices.
Points to Criticize
There are only two minor downsides:
• During booking, a city view was promised, but we got a small window facing a narrow atrium. This might be because we requested two rooms on the same floor.
• The room temperature felt a bit too warm. When we left the room, the AC also stopped working.
Overall
All in all, we would definitely stay here again. This hotel offers good value for money and is highly recommended for budget travelers or short stays in Binhai.

It's within walking distance of attractions like Minyuan Plaza. The facilities are comprehensive, including a gym and laundry room, and the in-room amenities are perfectly adequate. The bedding is comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast offers a good variety and quality.

Ralf GuianusThe location is excellent. You are about 5 minutes walk from the Five Great Avenues, and the subway is just outside the building, although on the other side, and the bus stop is just across the street.
The check in is also contactless. All the information you need will be given online(through WeChat for me since I've been using it). Probably the easiest check in you will find in China.
The room was very clean. I've heard the view was great but I only got a view of the opposite building, so I guess it depends on your luck. Nevertheless, all the things you need will be there, including a fridge and washing machine. Not to mention a mall is right below you, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores.
For the cleaning, someone will come around noon and the owner will text you about it beforehand.

The service here is absolutely superb! It's incredibly close to all the attractions; the Haihe River is right downstairs, the Italian Style Area is just to the north, and Jinwan Plaza is right across the bridge. The souvenirs they gave us made my kids so happy! They even noticed we had two children and upgraded our room for free, which was perfect for our family. On checkout day, they gave the kids plush toy souvenirs and small fried dough twists as snacks. Seriously, they couldn't be more thoughtful! Highly recommend.

Guest UserService: Excellent. The owner and staff were very attentive and welcoming. Free breakfast was provided, and the paid food was reasonably priced. The Jiangxi stir-fry was delicious and reasonably priced.
Environment: Okay. The lobby is quite spacious, and the building's paint color is refreshing.
Facilities: So-so. The room soundproofing was a bit poor, but thankfully the neighbors weren't noisy. Hair dryers aren't available in every room; you have to borrow one from the front desk. Bathroom drainage was average, rather slow.
Cleanliness: The bed in the room was clean enough, and the bedding smelled okay. The bathroom was less clean. The area under the bed was particularly dirty, with a lot of clutter left behind (I usually never check under the bed, but I thought I'd lost my keys and searched for a long time 😥).
