I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful homestay in the 杨柳青 area of Tianjin, and I can't recommend it highly enough. As a stressed entrepreneur and doctor traveling from Shanghai, this trip was a much-needed break for me, and the homestay exceeded all my expectations.

If you check my other reviews, you'll see that I often travel by train to various cities from Shanghai and stay at different places. Out of all the places I've stayed, this homestay in Tianjin stands out as one of the best. I am confident that I will return here in the future whenever I need a peaceful retreat.

LLizihaochifenniyigeThe service was incredibly attentive and thorough; everyone from the front desk staff to the housekeeping aunties was all smiles. The room was spotless, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The hallway was very quiet, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. While breakfast wasn't lavish, it offered a good mix of Chinese and Western options, with decent flavors – definitely enough to fill you up. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations, and I would choose to stay here again!

XXuanningThis is my second stay at the Time Walk Hotel, and once again, it's as thoughtful and heartwarming as ever.
I stayed here last year and had a great experience, so I decided to come back. My trip to Tianjin was for 4 nights in total, but the first two nights were over the weekend, and the hotel was fully booked. So, I smoothly checked in on Monday. It happened to be my friend's birthday on the day we checked in, and the front desk noticed. They surprised her with a birthday cake and longevity noodles! Although the cake wasn't huge, it genuinely touched my friend – she hadn't celebrated her birthday in 6 or 7 years. Her husband even messaged me, saying the hotel was more considerate than he was! How can a hotel be so incredibly thoughtful? They truly make you feel right at home.
Every room is spacious, and the space is utilized very well. The hotel amenities and facilities are complete and well-equipped.
Looking forward to my next stay!

GGuest UserIf you have an early flight this is a good hotel to stay at as it’s only 15 minutes from the airport. The room was clean and the staff very friendly.
My only problem was they had smoking rooms/floors and even though we had a non-smoking room there were some guests who still smoked in the stairwells. This is not the hotel’s fault but should be mentioned in case one cannot stand the smell of smoke.
There is not much for food around the area but for a 5-10 minute taxi ride you can get to an area with more options including some western options if you desire that type.

GGuest UserI specifically wanted to leave a glowing review for the St. Regis Tianjin! It's located right by the Hai River, and the building itself is a stunning landmark in Tianjin. The lobby is luxurious and elegant, with a grand and classic neoclassical design. The rooms are spacious and spotless, and from the higher floors, you get an incredible panoramic view of the Hai River at night – simply breathtaking. The overall ambiance is impeccable.
I especially want to commend our butler, Vivian! She was attentive and thoughtful throughout our entire stay. Before we even checked in, she meticulously confirmed all our needs. She was available 24/7, handling everything from luggage storage and room replenishment to travel inquiries with utmost care and attention to detail. Any small request we mentioned offhand was promptly addressed. Her service was professional and gentle, perfectly embodying the St. Regis butler standard. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Tianjin. Highly recommended!

I was also very happy with the room type; the humidifier in the room was excellent, making sure I didn't feel dry even on a dry northern night. The soundproofing was great, and the location is very close to the airport.

EEl_doradoI visited Tianjin in April nine years ago and thought April was the best time to see the city. So, I spontaneously decided to go again to see the begonia flowers, and choosing the Four Seasons was definitely the right decision.
Service: I was particularly impressed by the excellent service at their Chinese restaurant. Their signature dishes truly delighted my taste buds. I even made a special review on Dianping.
SPA: The SPA was probably the only minor disappointment of this stay. The front desk staff said, 'If there's no one by 10 PM, we'll close.' I was actually planning to book a session, but her comment completely put me off.
Facilities: Despite being open for nine years, the room facilities are still well-maintained. The city view from high up is unobstructed and quite nice.
Cleanliness: Very clean, you can stay with peace of mind.
Environment: The hotel lobby is very comfortable, and there aren't many guests. It seems Tianjin locals aren't accustomed to sitting in hotel lobby bars, having coffee, and chatting. This might also be because the hotel is located in the city center, and the surrounding old streets are more worth exploring at a leisurely pace.
Overall, it's highly recommended.

GGuest UserThe environment here is absolutely stunning with a 720-degree panoramic view! The floor-to-ceiling windows all around offer unobstructed cityscapes during the day and a magical atmosphere with countless lights at night. The room is clean and airy, and you can enjoy the view right from your bed. I'll definitely be back for my next trip! The service was excellent too. We arrived early, and they had a vacant room cleaned for us, so we were able to check in at noon. The package also included two tickets to a crosstalk show, which we enjoyed. Super value for money!
