2-Star Hotels in Tianjin

I would be sad if anyone didn't find this treasure homestay!!! The homestay is decorated in the Nordic style of logs and wood (not sure), which is very popular among young people nowadays, but every place is just right! It is even more appealing to me than its appearance!!! The homestay is very clean as a whole! I took advantage of the early arrival to inspect several rooms on the same floor. Each room is spacious and bright, and the bed is large and comfortable! The shower water is also strong! It is really more relaxing to take a comfortable bath~ Then the highlight is here! Listen to me shouting: [The food in the homestay is so delicious! ! ! ] The iron pot stewed fish tastes amazing! And the amount is so big... The fish is so big that three people can just eat it... So they also have 1 stir-fried vegetable and 3 flower rolls! Eat it up! And the breakfast on the second day is even more delicious and rich! If you come, you must eat! EN The hotel is quite clean. The room is decently sized but it might feel small in some corners. It had a nice desk area and little seats. There isn't much to complain about. It's located pretty close to a nearby metro station which was somewhat helpful for my commute. A lot of touristic locations are a bit further from this place so it's a good option if you prefer something quieter in a more local neighborhood. The staff at this hotel were extremely helpful! Even though I could not speak Chinese, they were very willing to help me with my needs. I had even dropped a personal item near the hotel area while rushing for my taxi. They even walked around the corner and picked up my item which I was able to later courier to the next city I was visiting! The rooms do feel smoke-free. But the people in the same floor might still smoke and the hallways may have an ashy smell. The shower area was a bit small but still clean. Decent deal for the price and the location. I recommend it for people traveling solo, in small groups, and/or at a budget. The hotel's architecture is wonderfully preserved, and the front desk staff were incredibly helpful and enthusiastic when assisting me in choosing a room. The hotel is conveniently located right outside Exit D of Heping Road Metro Station (Line 3), and public transport is also easily accessible nearby. The Five Avenues and the Porcelain House are just a stone's throw away, as is Zhang Xueliang's Former Residence. There are also breakfast spots nearby offering a variety of Tianjin specialties like ga ba cai, tang guozi, doufunao, soy milk, and dabing. Next door to the hotel, there's even a bakery and a shopping mall. It truly is an excellent choice for travelers. While the pedestrian street and Quanye Chang are currently undergoing renovations, the Tianjin Roast Duck restaurant is very close by.

I stayed here for one night while driving during the Chinese New Year. The hotel facilities are pretty good, clean and smell-free, and the bed in the standard room is also very big, with a bed of 1.35 meters. The transportation is convenient, just off the highway.

This hotel is very close to Tianjin Railway Station and Jinwan Plaza. The service is excellent, and the facilities are complete, especially the hygiene, which is top-notch. It's incredibly clean, and someone tidies up every day, making for a very comfortable stay.

This stay far exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The room was exceptionally clean, and the sheets and towels were spotless, looking brand new. The bed was soft and comfortable, and with excellent soundproofing, I had a very peaceful night's sleep. The front desk service was a definite plus; check-in and check-out were both quick. It's truly great value for money, and I've already recommended it to friends. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

In terms of price, it is very cost-effective during the National Day holiday. However, the garbage disposal in the room is not timely enough, I hope it can be improved. The triple room I booked is actually a double room. I only had roommates on the first day, and then I was alone. It is a residential building, divided into several rooms. The double bed room next door may be occupied by a family, including men.

I used to be stuck on my phone every night when I stayed at hotels, but this time at Shangshe, the experience was elevated! The public area's audio-visual room has a huge screen and fantastic sound. Plus, the butler organized movie nights, and the dark, industrial-themed environment was incredibly immersive. I even swapped a Tianjin Eye fridge magnet for a vintage license plate at the magnet exchange – those little touches really appeal to collectors like me! The room itself maintained the signature rugged industrial style, but the soft bedding was a delightful contrast. It’s just a few minutes' walk from Tianjin Station, so transport is no problem at all. For less than 100 per person, to get this kind of atmosphere, it's definitely great value for money.

I had been to Jinpudun a few time. I like the homestay environment, next door convenience shop (open daily 8-10.30pm) and the friendly boss. In my opinion, this is a value for money true homestay hotel than the equivalent false 2-stars. This is a recommended closest and cheap homestay transit hotel to others China provincial via central Tianjin railway train. Photos shown the room and the snacks I liked.
