GGuest UserThe guesthouse we booked this time was fantastic! The service was incredibly warm and friendly. When a family member accidentally sprained an ankle, they not only provided Yunnan Baiyao but also helped apply the medicine – so incredibly thoughtful.
It's evident that a lot of thought and care went into the guesthouse's design and construction. From the outside, it might just look like two undulating white walls, but we were told they are cleverly designed to represent two dragons. Stepping inside, it's a world of its own; the rooms are uniquely themed after the 12 months, creating a charming and varied layout. We booked the 'January' room, which has a fish pond right outside where you can sit quietly and enjoy the view. The room itself was very spacious and impeccably clean.
The courtyard features beautiful flowers and plants, charming small wooden cabins, and serene flowing water. Venturing further up the mountain, you'll discover a tent camping area, an infinity pool, and a coffee shop – all absolutely fantastic!
The meals were also delicious, featuring dishes like corn, sweet potatoes, and fish. We also enjoyed the rose tea, said to be from Xinjiang, which, with just three petals, was subtly fragrant and flavorful without being overwhelming. Definitely worth another stay!

The bathroom was separated into dry and wet areas. The toilet had a heated seat and automatic flushing. The toiletries provided were also very good. The home appliances are all Xiaomi, and the windows, furniture, etc. are all very new. Secondly, the service was also very good. We brought our pets with us, and there were not many pet-friendly hotels around. Pet-friendliness was very important to me. The room had a small courtyard, which was very convenient. The owner also told us in advance that pets were not allowed on the bed, etc. There are no requirements, and only some room types allow pets, so those who mind pets don’t have to worry at all; and the store said that although you can’t order takeout, they can help pick up the food ordered from the restaurant at the foot of the mountain. The next day, due to special reasons, I need to delay the return time. We were told that we would have to pay for late check-out, but the boss said that since there were no guests who needed to stay at the moment, there would be no charge and we could just check out when the time came. It felt really practical! Finally, the surrounding area is quite convenient. If you walk up about 1.3 kilometers, you will reach the entrance of Huangyaguan Great Wall Taipingzhai. If you drive down for three to five minutes, you will reach the main street, which is full of restaurants. We were lucky to catch the big market. There are big markets on the second and seventh days of the ***** calendar. I won’t repeat the photos of the rooms. The pictures in the store are very real. I’ll post a few photos taken at the big market and the Great Wall for your reference. If I have the chance, I will bring my whole family to play together!

After arriving at the store, the white walls set off by the warm light in the evening made people feel a little surprised. The store lady had already put water in advance for us, and the heating in the room had been turned on. It was really thoughtful and considerate.
